    intentional sins?

That is twisted. For one thing, when you have a new nature that only desires righteousness, you do what comes naturally, no self effort or struggling. It is not like the Jews under the law that had to keep the Law with a sinful nature. That is self-effort and struggling, going against your...

    intentional sins?

Do you understand that in Christ you do not commit the lusts of the flesh, or not? In other words, you do not commit adultery, fornication, etc.

    intentional sins?

You do know that only your past sin was taken away, and not present and future sins whatever you might want to call them. For all those who have repented, the Spirit of Christ has been given to them to dwell inside them, taking us out of the carnal nature and into the Spirit, where we remain...

    intentional sins?

There is no old law, because it didn't work. But we have a new law that goes deeper to the core of sin - iniquity in the heart. We are in the Law of the Spirit.

    intentional sins?

That means our new nature from Christ doesn't commit sins. I'm not sure that is what you are saying. If you are saying the works of the flesh you commit are not sins, then as Jude 1:4 says, you are turning the grace of God into licentiousness. Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we...

    intentional sins?

I do not commit willful sins of lawlessness - sins of the flesh. Sins: zero Mistakes are forgiven as long as I forgive others their mistakes against me. Matthew 6:14-15 Sins: zero I'm sinless, not perfect. So I do not teach sinless perfection.

    intentional sins?

I can't leave yet hearing this. So you believe grace covers works of the flesh and does what with it?

    intentional sins?

@Behold and @justbyfaith I have a little tummy ache, so talk to you later. J, just one thing. Please focus on being NOT in the flesh, instead of focusing so much on your being a sinner, as if you actively sin which you don't. As I said, Jesus took away your desire to sin, and gave you a new...

    intentional sins?

Grace doesn't cover sin, it prevents it. Grace is the power of God indwelling us.

    intentional sins?

Renaming sin a work of the flesh is still sin. 1 John 3:5 means those in Christ do not have the desire to sin; it doesn't mean we can do works of the flesh, such as adultery, and Jesus takes it immediately and it is not charged to us. That is false. Old Testament verse: 7 “Blessed are those...

    intentional sins?

It is in Paul's teaching on the LAW, where sin was only covered. Note the verse even says "covered."

    intentional sins?

I can agree with that, but pray for J, because he is so focused on having a sin nature like Paul, it seems he's bragging about it. He may not have heard the truth of "as a man thinketh, so is he."

    intentional sins?

You assume we commit sin. But those who have the Spirit of God do not commit sin, because only the carnal nature sins, and we are not in the carnal nature but the Spirit. Romans 8:2 and 9.

    intentional sins?

Romans 4 is an Old Testament verse. Sins could only be covered by the blood of bulls and goats while the sin remained. In the New Covenant the desire to sin is taken away so there is no sin.

    intentional sins?

If sin is rendered dead, why are you a liar to say you are without sin? Doesn't that mean active sin, not dead sin?
  16. CharismaticLady

    intentional sins?

According to this:"where sin abounds, Grace more abounds" What does grace do to sin? 1. Covers sin 2. Empowers us to overcome the desire to sin.

    intentional sins?

What does it mean that we are NOT in the flesh if the Spirit of God indwells us?

    intentional sins?

A sin nature needs to be reborn. Has yours been reborn or not? Mine has, I partake of the divine nature.

    intentional sins?

You honestly don't know is what you are honest about. To sin you must be in the flesh. Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. In the Spirit you are not in the flesh, thus don't sin. Those in the Spirit are not sinners, but are now...

    intentional sins?

I was a baby, I'm a woman now. I was a sinner, I'm a child of God now. Are you still sucking your thumb?
