"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

wow how absolutely presumptuous and arrogant of you!!!!! Now you presume to know the state of my soul and play God deciding if I am saved or not? For someone who professes perfection- you are filled with the gall of pride. I know whom has already saved me 46 1/2 years ago and what he has doen...

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

Then I guess you consider Paul very unloving then! You have a long way to go to know the love and patience of God. You directlyi told me that is one sins willfully after being born again , they are no longer saved- so you have lied to me. I asked it specifically to make sure I did not...

The Lord's Discipline Fulfills His Purpose

Galatians 6 King James Version 6 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. As for leadership of the church being the only ones to carry out church discipline- no explicit...

    ROUND IN CIRCLES

Tell them ! Give them good sound godly advice, then if they wish to go from person to person- the bigger issue is their craving for attention

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

Now get off your pompous throne and go look up words for a change instead of simply during your papal pontificating.

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

Some very true words here. However as long as you teach that if a believer commits one sinful sin after they have been born again and are then unborn again, no longer a child of God, damned, lost their salvation, etc.etc. You are guilty of Gal. 1:6-9 . YOu serve a god who is unloving...

Biblical Support v Explicit Biblical Teaching

Which is why you have hard times honoring another saint with simple definitions. You deny the absolute diety of Jesus because His name is not mentioned John 1:1 yet the bible teaches that Jesus is that very Word. You deny Jesus is equial to the Father yet John 5:18 thte Apost le John said Jesus...

The Lord's Discipline Fulfills His Purpose

Bringing back a believer from their sin, is vastly different that administering "official" discipline. We can rebuke, exhort, wartn and plead, but only those appointed by god to positions of "leadership" can carry the rod and use it.

The Absolute Equality of Jesus With The Father

Jesus is not His Father, nor a different manifestation of His Father. He is a separate "entity" from the Father. He co-exists in unity with His Father.

The Lord's Discipline Fulfills His Purpose

As long as we remember that that rod is only to be in the hands of the local leadership for an individual. As fellow believers we can call out a sin in a believers life, but the authority to hold the consequence of ones sins is reserved for the pastor teachers in the local assemblies.

Biblical Support v Explicit Biblical Teaching

Well as you have yet to define either here or in the other thread I have called you to do so on- we cannot answer what you mean by equality of jesus with the Father! I use the accepted dictionary definition: e·qual·i·ty /əˈkwälədē/ noun the state of being equal, especially in status, rights...

Biblical Support v Explicit Biblical Teaching

You are so blinded by your desire to be an iconoclast that you forget that many many many "traditions" in Christinaity are biblical doctrines! Like once saved always saved The absolute deity of Jesus and many others that you may or may not agree with teh Word of God on.

The Lord's Discipline Fulfills His Purpose

Amen! The Lord will not mince words and pooh-pooh away when we fall. He will call sin, sin and then teach us (which is what the word chastise here means) Sometimes the teaching is gentleness and encouragement, and other times He will allow us to experience the consequences of sin in this life...

What do you think about gender equality in Christianity?

This can be a dangerous phrase. for we can only get understanding by knowing what words mean. God di not write in some secret code (allegorical interpretation) God inspired fopr the most part His Word and He said what He meant and meant what He said. Carnal Christians and the unbeliever will...

The Absolute Equality of Jesus With The Father

Adonai ( אֲדֹנָי‎, lit. "My Lords") is the plural form of adon ("Lord") along with the first-person singular pronoun enclitic. As with Elohim, Adonai's grammatical form is usually explained as a plural of majesty. In the Hebrew Bible, it is nearly always used to refer to God (approximately 450...

The Absolute Equality of Jesus With The Father

Welol I suspect we are saying the exact same thing in different ways. I say separate you say distinct. I say tomato you say tamatoe !

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

Well maybe according to teh Word of charismatic lady, but not according to the Word of God! God hears and listens to all and He does answer no. Either because it is a good thing but not for you or because one asks amiss. To say you always get your prayers answered is hubris and arrogance...

What do you think about gender equality in Christianity?

Well let us do this- I am not a cultural marxist. and until you publicly apologize for bearing false witness against one who is achristian brother- there is no point in further discussion with a presumptious person. YOu have still failed to define what you think equality means and what...

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

Now understand that these verses do not mean succumbing to weakness or giving into temptation. I am sorry but you serve a very unmerciful, unforgiving, cruel caricature of the one true god who hates sin but is merciful to His Children. In this age of grace and holiness and mercy, you have God...
