What Mormons Believe--according to a Former BYU Professor

Belief control....world domination. The ism's of the delusional. It is the dreams of every denomination that those in pews believe their doctrines and what they preach to them. It rarely happens, unless they are practicing some form of mind control.

What Mormons Believe--according to a Former BYU Professor

Yes, I know the scripture....I am saying we might want to expand the definition of prophet.

What Mormons Believe--according to a Former BYU Professor

Again...I might vote for him.....still a unique prophet.....a lot of words in the OT......give me a thousand darts and maybe one will land on target. Don't you think he could have shown people best by example?

Was Noah “saved by grace through faith”?

If you are going to talking junk about the OT Why not talk about Noah leasing the Queen Mary II, it would have given him a lot more room. Maybe the Apostles could have helped him. Have Christ fly in on a Boeing 747. Don't consider any kind of logic or reality...let your imagination loose!

What Mormons Believe--according to a Former BYU Professor

Ass-um-ing you say that in jest since the number of denominations I fellowship with. And since I got you on the line....humor..... King David a prophet???? He would be one unique prophet....I might vote for him.... I heard friend of mine say that old parental saying, "Don't do what I do, do...

What Mormons Believe--according to a Former BYU Professor

Viewing God by your interpretation........is your opinion....won't even get you a discount on coffee. Considering the tens of thousands of interpretations of the Scriptures you would have to be pretty delusional to think that.

Was Noah “saved by grace through faith”?

Psalms 14:3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Romans 3:10-12 as it is written, “There is none righteous, not even one; There is none who understands, There is none who seeks for God; All have turned aside, together they...

Was Noah “saved by grace through faith”?

It is good to have your family saved, but no spiritual salvation in Old Testament. Maybe Noah needed to send Christ a message, "No need to come as our savior! Don't need ya, we got it covered!" Noah only had one place to go, Shoal. Of course there is that prophet that said there were many...

Was Noah “saved by grace through faith”?

I fellowship with the Baptists, the Lutherans, the Pentecosts, the Catholics, the Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Mormons, the Moravian Church and nearly a dozen non-denominational churches and I have had Jewish friends for most of my adult life.

Was Noah “saved by grace through faith”?

Keep in mind that I am talking about the Old Testament.....There are a lot of changes between the Old Testament and the New Testament. Some of them not expected.

Was Noah “saved by grace through faith”?

I don't what you are getting with post 49 but what is your point here with the ark? Really, lets talk.

Was Noah “saved by grace through faith”?

And you think I do not know the story of Lazarus! There is devil in the New Testament and there is a hell. You have been mixing up the Old and New Testament so long you cannot get it right. The only demon that the Jews believed in eventually was Lilith, and she is only mentioned once in the...

Was Noah “saved by grace through faith”?

Christ goes through the trouble of explaining that Judaism is not part of Christianity. He goes through the trouble to explain that mixing them or attaching them, will harm both. Christianity is not part of, or an extension of Judaism…You cannot drag Christian salvation back to the Old Covenant...

Was Noah “saved by grace through faith”?

Where do you think that Noah, Abraham, and David went when they died?

Was Noah “saved by grace through faith”?

Why do you guys keep doing this? There is no salvation in the Old Testament. It does not matter if you are Noah or Esau, everyone is gathered with their fathers in Sheol. God did not promise heaven as a reward in the Old Testament nor did He threaten people with hell in Old Testament. The only...

    Calvinism

Bingo!!! And that is why you can be a Calvinist! You cannot understand the scriptures. What she is saying is as simple and clear and backed up with scriptures and you can read what she says and look at scriptures and you still do not have a clue. The truth is static to you. Buzzing in the wind.

You could not be more wrong! Even if you used both hands and tried to be wrong!

Should Christians not participate in Halloween?

Religious view towards Satan and witches are varied. Some see Satan in politics, corporations, and media. The thing is there is some truth to that, Satan is all around us....As far as Satan and children, Halloween is not the issue....your child is far more likely to meet Satan in a public school.

Should Christians not participate in Halloween?

There are people that do not think that satanic witches exist, but they do. There is also a category that could be called nature witches. The Pagan healers of the Dark and Middle ages. lol Some "new age" beliefs lean this direction.

Should Christians not participate in Halloween?

So where do these holidays come from? Christmas and Saturnalia The Pagans celebrate seasons and celestial movements. In this case the winter solstice… the shortest day of the year. The celebration was about surviving winter and that the days would get longer from that point on. This holiday goes...
