What if the the brother who trespassed another brother attends a different local body? I've not too long ago had this happen to me. I was only able to take it so far and, as things were not "settled", I went to Romans 12:18 : "If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all."

To start here, I do NOT believe that any one person has it right 100% of the time. We are still fallible and will remain so until He completes us. I do love the KJV but I will not say all other versions are as watered down as you say. I know there was something with the NIV not too far back...

The test of our faith can be measured by how we react to suffering. Not an easy thing when in the midst of it, yet that is totally when we are to call upon His name. Even through the storms, we are to be grateful and joyful even. Oh it's a growth thing, for sure...IMHO.

Since I too am included in my own post, as there are many areas that are still growing in my faith. But, I would never, ever say I know ALL truth...one day The Holy Spirit WILL bring me into all truth. So, you kind of made my point?

BTW-I believe the Holy Spirit can certainly work through other bible versions and, we cannot know if someone has or does not have the H.S...He teaches all of us differently, it seems. Who is 100% correct in every single biblical truth? Have not met a one yet far as I can discern. :)

Those who are not saved and do good works, it is going to all be burned up as the works were not done from Faith but, from their own selves which... = dung to God. I think there will be many "nice" and "generous" people in hell or whatever hell is! :)

The KJV is what I started on, and I love it. It makes it so much easier to remember scripture, because of the old English. I have the NIV also, and I think I have an NASB somewhere. I always get drawn to the KJV though...it is my go to. And, I find most other bibles just paraphrase but...
