Poll: Does the mainstreaming of tattoos open up increasing opportunities for faith ink witness?

@MetalMike For those who do it, it's definitely something for adult women to do, rather than for adolescents.

Are all believers called to evangelize?

I think we are going to disagree very, very strongly here, @Agios. The idea of clerical monopolies in the desire to evangelize is foreign to the NT. Some ppl are particularly gifted in the areas which those verses describe, but the idea that a desire to testify to the power of the Gospel must...

    Warm Water.

@Mike. Hi; good to hear from you. It's good to get into the custom of reading God's Word daily in a prayerful way so that faith can be strengthened and confirmed.

Poll: Does the mainstreaming of tattoos open up increasing opportunities for faith ink witness?

@Angelina So are you surprised at all at the tattoo poll results above, so far? (seeing as you're already inked, of course).

Poll: Does the mainstreaming of tattoos open up increasing opportunities for faith ink witness?

@Cookie These days among many demographics it is so widespread; e.g.: christianforums dot com Among some demographics -of which the above example is of only one of many - it really is so widespread to get tattooed (among military spouses, for example, often in faith, family or patriotic...

    Wind, water and fire

@Deborah_ I saw a book called 'How to be born again'. I don't know about the contents but the title is almost misleading in the sense that it can be taken to imply almost a mechanistic 'quick fix', so to speak. Which decade were you born in?

@Rita Depends on the person, really, I guess. Now it's not unusual for grandmothers or older nurses, etc., sometimes to put streaks of colour in their hair, etc., in ways that in the 70s would have been called punk, but which now is simply an individual style. Maybe you were always more...

Which decade were you born in?

@Rita Punk seemed radical at the time but really it was kind of a style: maybe hair dyeing and piercings etc., but people who were punk when it emerged are now venerable grandparents.... :)
