Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #2

No, you do not simply obey wha the Lord teaches. If you did you, you would put Romans 14:1 into practice. I did address post #135 - just not the way you want.

Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #2

And Many Catholics as well. My wife likes to say it’s about relationships, not religion (doctrine). That’s the essence of it: love God with your all and others as yourself. Everything else is non-essential. You want others to get your religion (doctrine), making an obstacle to having a...

Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #2

You are confusing unity with submitting to RCC's usurpation of Christ's role in our lives. I know the Bible very well. The trinity is not in the Bible - not the word, not the idea. The beginning point of unity would be for your to acknowledge this basic fact. To pretend it is in the Bible, you...

Nonsense! You are pretending human beings can only be united if they agree on doctrine. Imagine being united and allow for a difference of opinion? That is not the "Catholic" way. Unbiblical? I am offering Romans 14:1. Don't bait and switch to another verse. No comment on Romans 14:1 reveals...

Where is the reformation in the Bible?

I see. A Catholic opens a thread with 'Typical fundamentalist misunderstandings!' the you claim victimhood with the return volley. Nice!

God works in mysterious ways. The difference between us is that I marvel at this diversity of the Holy Spirit while you have nothing but contempt for those led differently by the Spirit of God. There is another thread on how doctrine guides your life. One even asked what is doctrine. A...

You can’t answer a question with a question. Obviously, your reply reveals an unwillingness to face verses that do not support your doctrine.

The Only True God, the God of Jesus Christ.

Unitarians do not make Jesus out to be any kind of God. From, wiki Zeus had many sons who where god’s (demigods). This is a list of notable offspring of a deity with a mortal, in mythology and modern fiction. Such entities are sometimes referred to as demigods, although the term "demigod"...

The name given in Revelations 1:1 is God, in his unitarian nature.

So, not even scholars agree on who is talking? The point is debatable, invoking Romans 14:1.

Where is the reformation in the Bible?

It's not the image but apparent worship or deification (Mother of God) of Mary that is so off-putting to Christ followers.

It's so bizarre that you started this thread today because 2 days ago a glass that was on the counter just shattered. The pepsi my wife just put in it went all over.

Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #2

You forget prophets speak the words of God. Isaiah and Jesus spoke the same words of God. That does not make either of them God’s.

Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #2

These verses apply to the Father, who alone is the LORD God, not Jesus. We all understand that when Isaiah said these words, being a prophet of God, he spoke for God and these words did not apply to him. When the prophet Jesus says these very same words, oh my ...

    Reply: Call no man father

I'm glad you asked. The answer is simple. Take Bible verses literally when they support your doctrine and when they don't, take them figuratively to suppose they support your doctrine. I call my biological father, "Dad."
