Just saw this @aspen , Nail on head! Many folks in the mainline Churches today seem to be clones of a sort. Many "praise God's, and "Glory be's", and so forth...these words become meaningless after awhile when used in natural, common language after every sentence! I don't know, JMO...good...

I'm simply saying that fellowship with other Christians, whether on here or in person, is so very important yet, hard to find in the main line Churches. It is hard when you do not feel like you fit in. But then, I do not believe just any "Church building" is meant for a person. We are part of...

Amen...seems only the rich in this country can afford REAL healthcare...it's a business. It should be called "Healthcorp". Although, I am blessed that if I wanted to, I could use the VA for free. God will hold so many accountable who put money before the health of a human being.

But, of COURSE you are part of the Church!! Are not we all who trust in the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, The Name above ALL names? You all here are more my "Church" than the building I attend weekly. There is no cohesiveness and all seem to go their own way after services :/ . We ARE...

Feelings are fickle, go with what ya know! We are His righteousness! Hard to receive that as we tend to only see our sin and too many times allow our emotions to get in the way.

The thief on the cross also brings me comfort Taken. I was blessed to be by my mothers bedside holding her hand as she took her last breath. The Lord also blessed me as my father, on his death bed was just gone, mentally. Would not speak to or look at anyone once the cancer reached his brain...

IMHO Christ Himself in His divinity is, of course perfect in every way. I also believe that although Jesus was sinless, He also had to learn for His humanity and to grow but, He always heard His Father voice :) Again, JMHO

Yes @marks , please DO stick around! We all (at least I and a few others on here) have had to grow a thicker skin, lol. I have learned not to get involved (for the most part) in mean spirited posts and people on here. The many on here who DO exhibit Gods love are more than worth it to come...

Very well put @Taken , I would never wish my beloved ones who have passed back into this world. They were saved when they passed. I do find it tough to comfort other Christians who have lost family members that were not saved. All I can say to them is that we have no idea how the Lord might...

That is just evil! Yes it IS a horrible way to die! I will pray against that one, for sure! This country (US) takes horrible "care" of our elderly, it is like they just want to throw them away! This is so so sad :( I have such a heart for the elderly, always have. And to think of all that...
