Things To Do While In Lock down

@Angelina : Hoping your brother will be doing well soon! My respects about the Chinese; it's not an easy language for Westerners.

Things To Do While In Lock down

My family past has stories of hardships in the war years; and at the time ppl took them in their stride. Very unlike today's pampered generation; at least, some ppl. I also think that in North America and Europe a lot of ppl just don't get just how hard and different life can be in other parts...

Poll: Does the mainstreaming of tattoos open up increasing opportunities for faith ink witness?

@amadeus Interesting perspective, thank-you for explaining. Your contribution is appreciated. Faith based tattoos do indeed work as conversation-starters but there are all sorts of other ways and circumstances which do indeed work also.

What Genre of Christian Music Do You Enjoy?

@Rita Thanks! I think Disciple's Battle Lines in post #7, above, gets Biblical lyrics across rather effectively.

Hi @Rita; saw you're back. Can you appreciate some kinds of rock music?

What Genre of Christian Music Do You Enjoy?

Disciple's Battle Lines is very effective, with hard hitting Biblical lyrics:

I WAS WRONG ABOUT THE NEW TESTAMENT

Not more than one true, Scriptural gospel. (Lots of unsound varieties...)

Things To Do While In Lock down

People these days seem to some extent to have lost the art of face to face conversation and interaction. What would today's computer generation have done years ago?

Things To Do While In Lock down

@Angelina : seems like the terms of the lockdown in NZ are more severe than in some parts of North America. I do agree that the virus needs a great deal of precautions against. I guess a lot of ppl are glad that computers still work! :)

Gross example of rampant sin in "the church" today/ decades(tats)

So now you seem to have admitted that you don't agree with Romans 14.5, that there are going to be many things which individuals before the Lord will have to make their own minds up about. You, rather, seem to regard yourself as the sole judge of what all other Christians might feel is...

I strongly agree with this, too.

Gross example of rampant sin in "the church" today/ decades(tats)

But there would be no point in denying that lots — lots — of things are going to fall into the category of Romans 14.5: "Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind."

Gross example of rampant sin in "the church" today/ decades(tats)

There are many things - which are not about false doctrine or immorality - which are going to fall into the category of Romans 14.5: "Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind."

Gross example of rampant sin in "the church" today/ decades(tats)

You made a direct comparison of one with the other; and if some ppl as New Testament believers under grace -rather than as Old Testament Jews in the land under the law - are motivated to witness with a proven effective means, this is distinct from deciding to fornicate physically. I think you...

Gross example of rampant sin in "the church" today/ decades(tats)

Apples and oranges: Not being a virgin and maybe having a Bible verse tattoo are two different things; one does not mean the other.

@Base12 Thanks for your poll vote and contribution.

The Godhead/Trinity Has Already Been Scientifically Proven

As far as God in Three Persons is concerned, this great truth is revealed in Scripture, which is the basis for believers' faith.

Poll: Does the mainstreaming of tattoos open up increasing opportunities for faith ink witness?

@Funny bird Thanks for the interesting contribution. (No one is suggesting you must get a tattoo, either!) It's just interesting to have your own perspective stated, which is rather different from those of some other ppl in other parts of the world. In North America, for example, things tend to...
