@Rita 13 years: though by that time span the injecting of more pigment is not unusually necessary (and if so you would be really spoilt for choice for parlors where you are, wouldn't you?) yet sounds like - in the case of your deep and special colour, for you so far - still very satisfyingly...

@Rita so you guys over there, can you choose when you retire? sometimes work can get to be increasingly a burden; depends on the individual's situation, of course.

@Rita Oh yes I agree that merely being seen to practise local church actitivies makes one a true believer. I was referring really to those spiritual activities in Acts 2.42 practised in faith from the heart, as led by the Spirit of God.

Wanting before the Lord to practise Acts 2.42 activities is a good motive, Godward.

@Rita Jeremiah 17.10: 'I the LORD search the heart'. The Lord sees the hearts of those who practise the local church activities of Acts 2.42. (I keep metaphorically pinching myself to remember that you are the person with the former 'Butterfly' screen name... )

PS: @Josho Do you think they would at least respect the integrity of the desire to use a faith based tattoo design - such as a Scripture quote or reference - as a witness tool?

The great tribulation of Matthew 24 is clearly a unique event that is unprecedented; the tribulation idea of John 16.33 is a general principle of trouble, about which the church today may be assured that the Lord Jesus has overcome the world.

It's good when a local church continues steadfastly in the activities of Acts 2.42.

It's what the word means... :) It has its local and universal aspects, depending on the context of the passage where ecclesia occurs.
