The difference between God's standard, and how one keeps that standard.

I agree, but we must walk in the Spirit, not quench the Spirit.

    Philippians 2:12

You had me baffled, my friend!. I just want to reiterate that the New Covenant has two commandments, not just one. 1 John 3:23 And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ AND love one another, as He gave us commandment. There are some who talk about...

    Philippians 2:12

Not our behavior, just as long as we believe in Christ??? Even the demons believe and tremble. 1 John 1:6 I have never heard you quote a doctrine of demons before as if it was true. I'm shocked! If you believe Jesus came to teach the Old Covenant you need to realize that the Sermon on the...

The difference between God's standard, and how one keeps that standard.

    Philippians 2:12

Are you going to test God? I believe Jesus when He said, Mt. 6:14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

    Philippians 2:12

Davy, The first 8 chapters of Romans is one teaching. Paul is teaching on Sin and the Law, then not being under the law but grace but still not sinning, and then Romans 7 is about why the Law didn't work - our sin nature - constant struggle between mind and flesh; and the cream de la cream - the...

    GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT

Dreams and visions are ALSO gifts of the Holy Spirit, and prophesied on the Day of Pentecost by Peter when he said by the Spirit that what was happening was a fulfillment of the prophecy of Joel, which if you didn't know included dreams and visions. That should enhance your post, not derail it.

Spirit Power: A Neglected Basic of Faith

Good. I was concerned by some of your questions.

Spirit Power: A Neglected Basic of Faith

I think you are confused as to who we sacrifice. We sacrifice ourselves on the cross with Christ, and also become resurrected into newness of life with Him.

Spirit Power: A Neglected Basic of Faith

Obeying God's Spirit in me as I walk and abide in Him, and not the lusts of the flesh.

Spirit Power: A Neglected Basic of Faith

Absolutely not! That would be committing willful sin, and trampling on His once and for all sacrifice.

Spirit Power: A Neglected Basic of Faith

LOL If Christ never came as our sacrifice, I'd have to.

Feasts and sacrifices that foreshadow Christ.

Spirit Power: A Neglected Basic of Faith

Are you talking about the ceremonial laws, or the moral laws of the Ten Commandments? I'm talking about both are fulfilled with Christ.
