In terms of the craft of tattoo artistry, it does dove-tail to some extent with the cosmetician's craft, certainly. Your comment about knowing about two-tone outlining is a case in point.

@shnarkle Leaving aside the many examples of senior Chrisitian women who receive it now (an example of which you cited), it seems to have become more or less established as an expected custom, perceived now as benign, for so many young Christian women to receive.
