@Mayflower Good point! Indeed, this something to consider; some of them bring regret, yes. I guess my question was more basically, So you do support tattoo services made available by the industry? (The industry has been growing and progressing in recent years.)

Luther said he wouldn't waste a word arguing with anyone who didn't consider the Bible as the Word of God. Shows he had a strong, commendable view of revealed truth.

@Truth John's First Epistle and Romans 8 are great chapters which show that assurance is something which we can truly know, rather than just have to wait and see about.

@Josho Think of it with a girl who is growing up and because she is growing up she fairly naturally wants to have her earlobes studded. It's the same with a young man, really: wanting it because he's growing up. Same with wanting ink at reaching 18 or thereabouts; it's all linked with the person...

Well, when you get older, you'll maybe rue the day you ever said this... :)

@Truth Clearly, over and above the many ppl who do get tattoos, a lot more at some stage have thought of doing it. The tattoo industry anyway is there and growing, available for those who are considering some personal ink. (Hence also the poll question, above.)

@Mayflower Would you yourself clearly, then, be quite a firm supporter of the tattoo industry, really?

@Josho Point taken; although ppl who have them would remove them for cleaning (not unlike brushing one's teeth); just as if you or any siblings have pierced your ears you might remove the studs/rings from time to time. Tattoos also are sometimes lubricated and even touched up with more colour...
