I went to Menton years ago. Spurgeon stayed at the Beau Rivage Hotel there, near the border with Italy. The hotel was still functioning when I visited, but it has been closed now for many years. (What blessed memories...as long as they relate to the Word...)

The Godly resonance of Spurgeon's heart still encourages many today... :)

We were looking at Psalm 107.30: "So He bringeth them to their desired haven..." :) A sentiment that preaches well...

@Sabertooth It's a bit like in other areas, also, I suppose (inc. tattoo designs?); one person can't really draw the line for another. The main, strategic issue is I suppose if the medium is effectively conveying a wholesome and constructive message.

Some ppl see John 6.51 as referring to the Lord's Supper; I don't; it seems strongly to be a reference to feeding on Christ by faith.

John 6 is a great chapter! so searching! (I don't myself see the Lord's Supper in John 6, BTW.)
