    The Case Against the Trinity

I have no idea where you get the idea from that 61 translations affirm trinitarian interpretation of Scripture. John 1:1 does not even have Jesus in there. However, it is typical for trinitarians to read what is not there. I've posted several times the proper perspective to understand John 1:1...

    Are Christians Sinners?

Yes, it sure is off topic. Trinitarians want "The Son of God" to mean God in human flesh but the Bible does not say that. It repeatedly says God, the Father of Jesus. That is, God in his unitarian nature. The "Holy Spirt" is not a a 3rd person/being who gives grace and peace. May God our Father...

A Christian who deny Jesus is God in Flesh

Hilarious how trinitarian suppose figurative language to have literal meaning. The Word is the word of God, not Jesus. The proper interpretation of John 1:1 is through Deuteronomy 18:15-18. That trinitarians push belief in this 4th century evolution over salvation, over the 1C tells the story.

A Christian who deny Jesus is God in Flesh

    Trinitarian dogma without Scriptural support.

    Are Christians Sinners?

Well, your posts are beginning to make me think some Christians might be in league with the devil. It would be great if you would not include unrelated to the topic. Thanks!

    Are Christians Sinners?

A trolling post. Jesus is not God and John 8:24 does not even assert that. Jesus is our only mediator to God. By definition, this means he cannot be God.

Is Telling A Lie Ever A Good Thing?

So, you are OK with God lying but not Jesus lying? Did you ever read in the Bible why Jesus spoke in so many parables, besides to fulfill prophecy? I'll look for the actual verse if you think it will help. However, the point is he deliberately spoke in ways he knew that unbelievers would not...

    The Case Against the Trinity

This has been addressed several times already. Jesus is the son of God - but not God. The Word is the word of God - but not literally God. It is understandable why trinitarians want to use figurative language to take on literal meaning. See Deuteronomy 18:15-18.

    The Case Against the Trinity

Well, just because we have to follow POTUS, does not mean we do not have to follow the orders of mayors or governors. For theological reasons, you want to pretend there is only one Lord when there are, in fact, many lords. Yet, there is only one LORD God. The Scriptures you referenced were NOT...

    The Case Against the Trinity

I'm glad you pointed this out. The purpose of this thread is to make the case AGAINST as I figured there might be a thread FOR. I don't know about you but I like to hear arguments for both sides. In civilized society, especially in court rooms, we don't let one side prevent the other side from...

    The Case Against the Trinity

Just basic reading comprehension my friend. The LORD said to my Lord = 1 being talking to another. From what I've seen, trinitarians make all kinds of semantic and logical juxtapositions. Does Jesus sit at the right hand of God?

    The Case Against the Trinity

You do realize focusing on the 'man is God' thesis does not make the case for 3is1ism, right?

    The Case Against the Trinity

I know of no more powerful an idol than to disregard the 1C's use of singular pronoun, and suppose the one God is three. (After all, that is what singular pronoun's attest to, singular, not triad, right?) That would have been the perfect time for God to say, you shall have no other God before...

    The Case Against the Trinity

There is too much wrong in your posts for me to go through point by point. In typical trinitarian fashion, you suppose figurative language - which can mean anything you want it to mean - supersedes explicit and literal expressions, like the son and father, by definition, are not the same...

    The Case Against the Trinity

Sure. The CEV translation states in the OT Psalms that God alone saves and is our (ultimate) Savior. God tends to do things through others. See prophets. Perhaps you are not familiar with Christianity's end game? For Jesus to hand all things reconciled back to God (not 'the Father' but God, in...

    The Case Against the Trinity

LORD ≠ Lord. LORD = almighty God. YHWH. Lord = many whom fidelity is owed. Lord Vader. Lord Sidious. Lord Voldemort. Lord Cornwallis. First Lord of the Admiralty. Lord David. None are God. Nathan (to Bathsheba, Solomon’s mother): 11 Do you not know the news? Adonijah (Haggith’s son) is now...

    Are Christians Sinners?

Of course Christians are sinners. Read about the difference between salvation and sanctification. I asked for forgiveness much, MUCH more often after I was saved for my ongoing sins.

HELP, I'M A UNIVERSALIST - CAN SOMEONE BRING ME INTO THE FRESH WATERS OF 'ETERNAL DAMNATIONISM'?

You mean he talked to himself under different accounts making it seem like 2 people were having a conversation? Wow!

HELP, I'M A UNIVERSALIST - CAN SOMEONE BRING ME INTO THE FRESH WATERS OF 'ETERNAL DAMNATIONISM'?

I have thought long and hard about this over many years, decades. My conclusion? God's creation includes room for our choices in shaping the details of his inevitable story. By way of comparison, I was on vacation last week visiting 3 of my 7 children and 11 of my 17 grandchildren. My...

HELP, I'M A UNIVERSALIST - CAN SOMEONE BRING ME INTO THE FRESH WATERS OF 'ETERNAL DAMNATIONISM'?

That is totally untrue! More to the point, God is the ultimate or final judge. I believe the Christian perspective is why waste your time judging if you do not have authority? There are 4 Biblical authorities on Earth: Parents Husband Boss (Master) Priest Solomon was quite the judge in...
