    Who appreciates Christian hard rock?

@Hidden In Him If you look at the lyrics of Disciple's 'Radical' in the video, a similar comment could maybe made like the one you made about Stryper, right?

Estimated Dates of the Events of the 1 Year Great Tribulation of the Earth

Interesting comment about the needle. Yes, I see the insight there; interesting. It can be insightful if one looks at a possible original context for certain figures of speech. (For a moment I thought your reference to the needle indicated that you had revived your former tattoo interest.)

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

Re. the poll results, I see that no one — no one — has voted to indicate that being a tattoo artists is supposedly something only for men to work at. (The tattoo scene used to be heavily - almost exclusively - among men, but this has changed. Some would say, this is for the better: no one has...

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

@Sabertooth Great passage there from Isaiah; and thank-you for the exhortation. I guess it doesn't have to be those who are actually called Fundamentalists; it's also a mindset whereby one person or group of person's subjective personal preferences is then foisted on everyone else; the...

All Things Are Lawful Unto Me

Paul says something similar in Romans 14.

Comment by 'farouk' in media 'Trumpeter'

@Sabertooth Well, I'm sure your drawing of the Trumpeter would also make a nice photo.

Comment by 'farouk' in media 'Trumpeter'

@Sabertooth I do think it would be very busybodying of Fundies if they implied that art should be landscape and not portrait in scope; if portrait art is pursued, then in one way or another the human body is involved.

@"ByGrace" So how is Alberta now, snow-wise? :)

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

@shnarkle I guess they would now be approaching age 40...and for them the idea of getting inked would be a commonplace option for moms and their daughters as well as for dads and their sons... Some Christians, instead of fighting the medium, instead embrace it and try to make the tattoo parlor...

Should Christians not participate in Halloween?

@shnarkle This is the sort of question a lot of Latin Americans ask. The CIA paid for Billy Graham in Latin America, after all; while doing all sorts of other, irreligious things at the same time... o_O

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these...

I'm not Reformed. The Reformed tend to believe we are under the law. Hebrews 7.12 says that the law was changed. Hebrews 7.19 says that what we now have is better than the law.

All Things Are Lawful Unto Me

PS: @Sabertooth I wonder how this would work out for example as with the example given in Romans 7 of divorce and remarriage?

All Things Are Lawful Unto Me

@Sabertooth Interesting way of putting it. ... :)

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

@Sabertooth I do see the distinction. There is a sense that if the tattoo is in fact God honoring, it's not particularly secular, if this is logical?

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

@Sabertooth Yes, excellent points; by 'wholesome' I guess I meant something that will be God honoring, in conscience. I can even see how some ppl who do feel led to get inked with a faith based design might feel that the service of an artist - believer or not - might for them be the Lord's...
