Sometimes we "can't see the wood for the trees"; but if Scripture repeats a point, it's good to take note... :)

How do you address opposing Scripture verses?

The extent to which a "rights culture" blends with following the Humble Servant Who was obedient unto death (Philippians 2), is something which has doubtless exercised a lot of Christians down the years.

How do you address opposing Scripture verses?

Well, I know that in the US particularly there is very much a "rights culture".

How do you address opposing Scripture verses?

There is always blessing in being at peace Godward, rather than in making moves which while technically within one's rights could also be a form of self-assertion.

Poll: Best age for first tattoo?

Do you think your daughter would get a "SOLA" tattoo? (to complement the ones she already has)

Poll and thread: Is smoking always a sin?

While I don't like smoking, I think it's one of those reasonable freedom issues between spouses.

    A Comforting Reminder

What a great truth about the constant intercession of the Lord Jesus in Hebrews 7.25; and it is also asserted strongly in Romans 8! :) I do appreciate J N Darby also!
