I think it is relevant when someone infers that the original gospels were in Hebrew instead of Greek.

They used iesous because the NT was written in Greek. Hebrew was as a minority language in those days as it is in the US today. God was reaching to the masses with the gospel, so allowed Israel to be dominated by world powers for 400 years prior to Jesus' coming. God was smart for that.

Do you know the dominant language of Jesus' day was Greek? The NT was also written in Greek? The NT was written in the dominant language for maximum effect on sinners? Or, it was written in the secret Hebrew language for only hard core Jews, excluding the gentiles?

Iesous is same as Jesus in sound. Sound matters to God. God called his son Jesus(iesous) per Matt 1. Not a Hebrew name.

No, Jesus =Jesus. Jesus' original name was Greek...Iesous.

I think Jesus sounds like Iesous to everyone, including God. Now, Yeshua sounds like a Japanese motocross bike.

There is no "Yeshua" in my Bible from cover to cover. Stop pulling my leg.;) Is there some kind of very special Bible made with Yeshua in it for very special people?

It is easier to say Jesus than make up a non-scriptural name. How would you like it if I renamed you? Jesus is not into being renamed by modernists.
