I used to as a Catholic. They taught us to do that with extra Biblical literature, so we did it. No wonder Martin Luther blew a fuse and announced "sola scriptura".

Oodles of PHD's of Christendom teach it. They even tell sinners that on PBS etc, per those "the Bible" episodes. I saw them with my own eyes, debunk the Bible book by book.
