There is also the Matthew 24 event, which clearly speaks of a unique future event on earth, not related to the church, to be raptured in the air (1 Thess. 4).

It's interesting that in the same chapter it seems to say about not trimming one's beard; do preachers shave? If so, they are maybe backhandedly admitting that they are New Testament believers under the rule of the Gospel rather than Old Testament Jews in the land under the law. Pragmatically...

I think passages such as Ephesians 2 and John 6 are good to study thoroughly before voicing opinions on what Calvinism supposedly is.
