Such music might not be suitable for general congregational use, but if young people want to express Biblical faith strongly in hard rock, then this is a good way to do it.

@MetalMike For my 2c, it can simply be a wholesome, rugged, manly thing for a son to have done, if he wants it. As far as I can remember, even already about 20 years ago all the boys who played ball in the street where I lived happened to have rings in both ears.

They've obviously practised it well to a really effective performance. And I think it complements the Scripture verses.

The rasping screamo in Disciple's 'Radical' is effective, too.

I do think the Epistle to the Hebrews is an excellent guide as to the wondrous way in which divine revelation in the fully revealed Person and Work of the Lord Jesus Christ is seen so clearly to be superior to anything that went before or even could possible be. :)

I think there is also a sense in which revelation had various stages before the Bible was finally complete. So what people understood in faith would at times differ in stages of divine revelation.

So what sort / how far into metal are you?

If I don't read end times fiction, it's not because I'm not a dispensationalist...

PS: I wonder how people who don't even believe in the Rapture of the church get along with the Left Behind series? My own position is that I do strongly believe in the Rapture of the church (as per 1 Thess. 4, John 14), but maybe I'm just less keen on fiction about it... (if this makes any...

PS: It's probably a bit different between men and women also, at least, sometimes. In terms of what's widespread and more or less conventional, while for men it was always an option to get ink, for women it's become more of an option to do it in recent decades. So at around 40 or 50 it's not...

Good that Scripture is well used for quotes. Sometimes so called Christian fiction is really strong on imagination but significantly short on doctrine rooted in the Word.
