It's good just to stick with revealed truth, right? like also in Ephesians 1 which speaks of the believer in the Lord Jesus as having been 'chosen in Him from before the foundation of the world'.

Thanks a lot! ppl get tattoos for a huge range of reasons. My wife talked to a young lady with the whole of John 3.16 tattooed on her wrist area; it was her favorite Bible verse and mine also; and I'm sure that other conversations have also arisen because of her willingness to undergo the ink...

In tattooing, skin ink is a medium: the pain subsides, whereas for cutting the pain seems to be more or less central to the experience. (If this makes sense?)

Traditionally, Lutherans have tended to believe in consubstantiation (as opposed to transubstantiation, in the R C Church), while Calvinists have not tended to stress it as much. (It was the Swiss Zwinglians that tended to see the emblems simply as part of a remembrance - 1 Corinthians 11.26).

There are some very searching - and encouraging - verses in 1 John, from which the true believer can gain immense assurance.

Oh I don't necessarily mean permanently... :) Florida is for: beach and tanning experts; enthusiasts for Hispanic culture; Fundamentalist churches; tattoo parlors; alligators and the Evergaldes, etc. Everyone probably has a reason to visit, I suppose...

John 6 is very searching; better for people to start believing what it says rather than argue...
