Is repentance a work? Can we be saved without repentance? Does God repent us or do we repent ourselves?

Do you think remission of sins via water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ was first introduced as N.T. church doctrine in Acts 2:38(at Pentecost) ?

You quoted Jesus' words as if he were already dead and remission started with John etc. Fact is, remission was first introduced as effective in the N.T. per Acts 2:38.

Just 1 question...Adam and Eve had kids in the garden before the fall? Is there evidence of that?(it may be true, but I never considered that).

You can be forgiven for a particular sin, but still be an active sinner. So, to not be an active sinner, one must have their sins remitted. This is how the name of Jesus in the water trumps our sins en masse.

Remission of sins is only acquired by being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins per Acts 2:38. Then, and only then, do these verses you posted from the epistles to the saved saints apply to us.

Yes, we see the males lived as many years as Methuselah(969), but the daughters of these men lived less than 100? Very funny. fact is, Mrs. noah was as old as her husband. These old folks stopped their growing spurt at probably 150 years old, which makes the giants.

Maybe the daughters of men were giants too, living for multiple hundreds of years like the men?
