    I do like J N Darby. While some of his syntax can be obscure at times, his close and careful study of dispensations and word meanings have been very helpful in understanding the Bible.

    I see no prophecy which must happen first before the Lord comes for His church. Properly speaking, Israel is the key to prophecy.

    Works do give evidence of faith (Ephesians 2.10) but salvation itself is by grace, though faith, not of works (Ephesians 2.8, 9): it has to be all of grace.

    Interesting experiences for yourself and your daughter; thanks. Some tattoo artists actually don't like numbing agents, seemingly because they reckon that the pain is and ought to be all part of the experience as a test of endurance; not sure what I think of this idea. Maybe you would understand...

    It's good to feed prayerfully day by day on the Word, whether individually or with others. Believers are all in different circumstances. If possible a local church interaction of the nature of Acts 2.42 is very valuable.

    Butterfly: So you didn't use a numbing agent, then? So would you recommend that other women and girls having it done for the first time try to dispense with using a numbing agent and receive it without one?
