Even John chapter 1 shows that the Triune God is involved in Creation and Divine purposes. It is futile to try to use the Bible to argue against the Trinity.

I am exactly saying that a Trinitarian understanding is indeed Biblical.

All those references in the NT that I gave are to Persons and not to ideas or influences. The Spirit may be grieved (Eph. 4.30) - an influence cannot be, for example.

Father, Son and Holy Spirit are mentioned very frequently and deeply in the New Testament: Matthew 28; John's Gospel, especially chapters 13 - 17; John's First Epistle, etc.

Interesting comparison; I'm sure there is truth to it. I do think that reducing the new birth - intentionally or not - to a formula like coming out to the front or repeating a counsellor's phraseology is to take away from the essential work of the Holy Spirit.
