You need to get pickier. The KJV is the plumbline for all translations to compare themselves to. They definitely do not all say the same thing.

The Law actually started in the garden. Adam was not a Jew. The Law increased per the increase of sin. The Law judged man and still does. Everyone is under the Law, written or unwritten, knowing it or not knowing it per Romans 3:19 . Only Spirit led saints are not under it per Galatians 5:18 etc.
