I don't agree that in principle the majority is right, no. Remembering also that the passage in Leviticus that speaks about cutting for the dead also seems to speak about not trimming one's beard, it is probably the case that Old Testament Jews in the land under the law would view such issues...

It's interesting that in parts of Great Britain the squirrels are red. The North American grey squirrel has also been introduced and apparently the two types of squirrel fight each other! Apparently the grey squirrel has driven the remaining red squirrels to the north of the country!

The Lord Jesus Himself regarded the Scriptures as normative: "Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God." (MAtthew 22.29)

Then there is the Rapture 'caught up', as in 1 Thessalonians 4.

The question is, Who is 'us'? Tribulation saints are not in the church. The tribulation in passages such as Matthew 24 and the tribulation principle in John 16 are distinct.
