    GOSPEL TO BE PREACHED TO THE NATIONS "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then [not until then] shall the end come" (Mt. 24:14). Unless we take this verse clear out of its setting, "the end" in view here is the end or destruction...

    I didn't ask what Jesus told them. I asked whether they acted upon what He told them. Did Judaean Christians flee in (or more accurately, approaching) 70 AD? Yes. Because the armies were the abomination of desolation (Luke 21:20) advancing upon the holy city of Jerusalem, and His disciples...

    The Judaean Christians saw the approach of 70 AD literally, and understood Jesus' literal warning, and literally fled, and literally survived. If they'd used your eisegesis, they would have perished.
