I agree. What is clear is that standing in and with Christ is the remedy. We don't need to do battle in the culture wars of the world but simply stay true to the simple truth of the gospel. That is what cuts through all the lies and darkness. By being like Christ and even submitting to the...

I think gnosticism is inherently human because there is some aspect of reality that seems spiritual. So I would imagine its easy to mix up with Christs bodily resurrection. In fact I think the idea of bodily resurrection was fringe and even mocked as a belief. This was the birth of such ideas...

I think we live in a testing time when it comes to material wealth and comfort. Back in the early church I think most people were pretty poor. On average people just managed to have shelter and food. But today after decades of developing tech and materialism at least in most western Christian...

Gods grace. Acceptence of the free gift of salvation in Christ. Most of all I think humility.

This is kind of science. Epigenetics is the idea that the stresses and conditions a generation goes through can affect the expression of the furture generations genes biologically. But I think we also inherent ways of some aspects of personhood as well. As though our psyche is also influenced...

Thats why I said in another thread why I most like documentaries. Especially on the bible. As it goes by the facts. I watch 'Bible Expidition' Or something like that. They actually cite the bible verse as they retrace a jouney or identify a biblical place. I get what you mean and I would not...

Thanks I will keep that in mind. It hasn't changed my belief. I am very traditional. What I like is that it is bringing such a story to a more mainstream audience. The establishment will never make such shows. So it gets a wider audience involved and talking. Thats when you can correct them...

Here is the Ai summary which I think is good AI Overview Values are subjective beliefs about what is important (e.g., freedom, success), while virtues are, according to Reddit and Clarion, consistent, objective character habits that reflect high moral excellence (e.g., honesty, courage)...

Lol its true. But thats what marriage is. Getting married despite the whingin and complainin. Lol Thats classic. Good old Clint. Most men will agree but are too scared to say it lol. Even the new age men. If they don't then somethings wrong. They are not being honest with themselves or their...

I think its more about the sin than the person. Though its easy to step into disliking the person. This seems a human trait. We tend to like those closer to us or who are like minded and view the out group as distant or different and sometimes a threat. Our base animal instincts for survival...

Its a powerful statement. I find it interesting that in an age where it seems words and narratives have become the language of truth and even reality itself. Where someones testimony and experience is listened to and valued above all else. It seems to me John 3:16 is such a simple and powerful...

Yes thats right. Christ church will rise up and be identified by its fruits for all to see. As mentioned this will be a spiritual uprising and not a religious or denominational one. Though this may result in some denominations uniting in mind and spirit. Which is what we should expect if Gods...

The one gospel is quite simple really. Just as the disciples and early Christians testified as eye witnesses. That Jesus the Son of God was crucified for our sins and rose again on the 3rd day so that we may be saved from sin and death and have eternal life. Its as simple as that. But because...

Yes I have heard that young people are turning to the churches and God. As though what they have seen in the chaos of rejecting God has caused them to see God as the answer. I think as more people reject God and Christians are singled out and hated the more true Christians will rise up. As...

I believe the church will reunite spiritually. This will be Gods message to all. As the world becomes more Godless it is making a clear destinction between those of God and those of the world. The recent crazy events and threats and attacks on churches and Christians has caused Christians...

This is the suicidal empathy people talk about. They would rather side with those who want to cause them and society harm then support Trump. They also hate God and would rather side with chaos and destruction than bow down to God. Because they believe they are the gods.

Yes, we have a show called "The Block". A conest to renovate homes. One of their sponsors a few years back now had a 3D machine that printed out small houses with lavacrete. Could be shaped and was solid. But I still like the idea of making your own blocks or crete. Though its way harder. I...

I agree prayer is something private between you and God or a group of people and God in Christ. Jesus set the example when going off to pray in the garden before His crucifixtion. I think it brings sincerity because you are left on your own with your own thoughts and no one else to hear them...

Yes its a bit like Lot going into Sodom. Hanging around the gate and watching and being entice until he is lured in. Rather than obeying God and just staying right away. I agree we cannot change the world and it has to fullfill what God has allowed so that all that needs to be done will be done...

I have been thinking about how the world and Christ reflect different outcomes from morality to a good and happy life. If Christ is the way, truth and life and offers life in its abudence. Then rejecting Christ (antiChrist) should in the end produce the opposite. People can get away with false...
