    The Israelites and the Law

John declares that those who reject Him are antichrists. So you're claiming that Jesus fights for antichrists?
  2. C

    The Israelites and the Law

You're absolutely right. He is not the God of an Israel that denies that His Son is the Christ who has come in the flesh.

    The Israelites and the Law

Does the New Covenant call Jesus the God of the religion of Israel which denies that He is the Christ who has come in the flesh?
  4. C

    The Israelites and the Law

Does Jesus love the religion of Israel that denies that He is the Christ who has come in the flesh?
  5. C

    The Israelites and the Law

I'm filled with hatred for a religion that denies that Jesus is the Christ who has come in the flesh. Don't you hate such a religion?

    The Israelites and the Law

Jesus is the God of those who confess that He is the Christ who has come in the flesh. The religion of the Jews of Israel denies it.

    The Israelites and the Law

Does the religion of the Jews of Israel deny that Jesus is the Christ who is come in the flesh?

    The Israelites and the Law

1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

    not necessarily Preterism

Many persons had died 400 years prior.
  11. C

    not necessarily Preterism

Yes, for more than 1,000 years before the Reformation. Suffering under the ever-increasing apostasy of the papacy during that entire time.
  12. C

    not necessarily Preterism

God raised up the Reformers to liberate His True Church from spiritual darkness and oppression. I believe Him and them.

    not necessarily Preterism

Yes, the two share that understanding. However, preterism considers Nero to have been The Antichrist. Reformation historicism does not. Futurism's mythical antichrist was spawned in the antichrist which was identified by the Reformers. The apostate papacy.

    not necessarily Preterism

Yes, the majority of Reformation historicist commentators (e.g. Albert Barnes, Adam Clarke, John Gill, John Wesley) recognize that the AOD of Daniel 9:27 and Matthew 24:15 is the Roman armies of Luke 21:20. Reformation historicism is alone and unique in recognizing that various prophetic...

    not necessarily Preterism

Reformation historicism recognizes the apostate papacy as an antichrist who also fulfilled prophecies in Daniel. That's after 70 AD.
  16. C

    not necessarily Preterism

Not completely true. Alcazar sought to identify The Antichrist as Nero. So does Preterism today. I'm historicist. The eschatology of the Reformation.
  17. C

    not necessarily Preterism

Alcazar's Vestigatio arcani sensus in Apocalypsi was a commentary on Revelation which attempted to identify The Antichrist as other than the apostate papacy. His commentary did not deal with Matthew 24.

Will the Jews build a Third Temple?

Yes Douggg, but is his physical ethnicity of any significance to God with no spiritual ethnicity i.e. a descendant of Abraham through faith in Christ?
  19. C

Will the Jews build a Third Temple?

He's not. Romans 2 28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Could and did. WARS AND RUMORS OF WARS Matthew: “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that ye be not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom” (24:6, 7). Mark: “And when ye shall...
