    Flat Earth Theory

You don't get to decide that. God decides. So...if that is any indication of the rest of your post--it's not good.

Some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty

Yes, biblically, by definition--it does. Biblically, a "cloud" refers to God in spirit--that is what they saw. That is all they saw. They did not see Jesus in heaven in the flesh. Didn't happen. You have nothing. Meaning...it is only what the many believe against what Jesus taught about all...

    Flat Earth Theory

This myth effects a lot of scripture understanding. For God is indeed the Author of "confounding" also translated as "confusion." Which He ordered at Babel, and it has not been rescinded. And why did He do it? So we would not understand one another's speech. Which is a huge part of the problem...

    Flat Earth Theory

Only metaphorically. The same is true of other words like "above", etc.

    Flat Earth Theory

You do bring up a good point...but first, no, it is not only secular science that teaches a global earth. But--your good point! Indeed, scripture teaches the Moon is a "light." But also that it "rules the night" or darkness--which ought to make one's spiritual hairs stand up. (Whoever has an...

Some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty

Yes, read your Bible--all of it. You left out Acts 1:9: And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. Search the scriptures and discover the other uses of the word "cloud." --But first, understand that it was a "cloud"...

    Flat Earth Theory

I referred to it again in the post you were just quoting. Here it is again:

    "Their heart was HARDENED??"

We have been at this on this thread and many others for some time--and yes I have declared the false teachings from the scriptures many times. As for answering you fully, I have given you more than you asked for. As for what "appears" to be so according to you--I would not advise trusting in...

    "Their heart was HARDENED??"

You speak only of your understanding, as if that were the test--but it is not.

    Beware Of The Crowd--The Many!

Loosing the half that Christ said He would cut (Matthew 24:51).
  11. ScottA

Some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty

I was not speaking of "trust"...which is not required, but God's good counsel. But rather--as I said--"faith" is required, which is not of man, but a gift from God.
  12. ScottA

Some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty

No, indeed it is not complicated. But it does require understanding that the body that is raised up is not the body of flesh. And no again, Jesus did not "leave" the planet except spiritually; and He gave His body to the church, saying "take eat, this is my body" of which Paul clarified...
  13. ScottA

Some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty

I answered you according to your own measure. That's not all there is to it, but that is all you spoke against. But no, what I have said is only beyond your own comfort, but aligns with scripture. The church is in big trouble. You can deny it--but hey--hold your breath, and before you need air...

    Flat Earth Theory

As the words are written (literarily, without revealing the Spirit), they are written in a way that can be interpreted differently. Which I would suggest is by design, as God has set before us all "life and death, blessing and cursing" saying, "therefore choose life, that you and your family may...

    Flat Earth Theory

Very good logic, insightful of you David.

Is it possible to lose salvation?

Yes, the natural man sees everything as worldly, as if the practices and signs were the fulfillment, even looking to all that God has promised as being fulfilled worldly rather than heavenly. Not "on earth as it is in heaven", but on earth as on earth. :( :praying:

    Beware Of The Crowd--The Many!

You mock, but unbeknownst to you it is a compliment, for such are the words of God before the natural man who has not the spirit of God. By His design. "The Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes."

    Beware Of The Crowd--The Many!

It is "your ridicule and putting down of me" that is here on record. Meanwhile, I give witness to the truth for which I am sent.
  19. ScottA

Is it possible to lose salvation?

Read of it: Matthew 3:11 Mark 1:8 Luke 3:16 John 1:33
  20. ScottA

    Beware Of The Crowd--The Many!

That doesn't sound like a question. But what did you think and believe, that as Israel thought Messiah would come as a conquering king, did you think all truth would come as the clouds opening and Christ would return on an actual white horses? Have you learned nothing? Meanwhile, as it is...
