Typical questions people ask about the Olivet Discourse.

Is Numbers 25:9 in your Bible? Why not open it once in a while for some answers? And FYI, "cut off" is not the translation in any English version. Stop substituting your personal falsifications.

The (7th) Abomination That Maketh Desolate

Amen bro. In addition to identifying "he" through spiritual discernment, "he" can also be corroboratively identified through simple grammar: The grammatical antecedent/referent of "he" in verse 27 is "prince" in verse 26. The grammatical antecedent/referent of "prince" in verse 26 is "Messiah...

The (7th) Abomination That Maketh Desolate

Amen bro. Jesus Christ Himself has finished it all, perfectly and completely, long ago at Calvary.

Typical questions people ask about the Olivet Discourse.

Moses lived a full life. Did he ask for and receive forgiveness? The 24,000 did not live full lives. Did they ask for and receive forgiveness? The answers are evident.

Typical questions people ask about the Olivet Discourse.

But Paul, Peter, and the Holy Spirit make sense. They prove all points.

    Scripture shows that it doesn't.

If you're unable or unwilling to respond, please don't.

Typical questions people ask about the Olivet Discourse.

History doesn't kid. It records the flight of the Judeaean Christians (the Elect) to Pella prior to 70 AD. That included Jewish Christians. There were also Jews in other nations. (Acts 2:5) There was never any threat to the existence of the Jewish people.

You don't believe Paul or Peter or the Holy Spirit who inspired them.

Typical questions people ask about the Olivet Discourse.

God slew 24,000 Israelites (and many more). Did God slay Moses?

Typical questions people ask about the Olivet Discourse.

24,000 were chosen...to die. Many thousands more joined them. 2 Samuel 24 15 So the Lord sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the time appointed: and there died of the people from Dan even to Beersheba seventy thousand men. So much for your definition of chosen.

Every nation is comprised of its individuals.

God cast out 24,000 of them in Numbers 25:9. Tell us again why.

Typical questions people ask about the Olivet Discourse.

Of course. And their sin brought God's judgment upon them. They weren't elect after God slew them. The elect were those who continued in faith and obedience to God and His Covenant. They lived.

Typical questions people ask about the Olivet Discourse.

You have more than one connotation. Scripture doesn't. The Elect are those faithful and obedient to God and His Son and His Covenant. It has always been thus. No others.

A question for you, since Bro. marks won't answer. Numbers 25 9 And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand. Explain why those 24,000 "chosen" ended up on the corpse pile.

Typical questions people ask about the Olivet Discourse.

Paul and Peter identify the Elect. They contradict you. Romans 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness...

What "existential threat" in what Scripture are you talking about?

Understanding the 'Little Horn' power of Prophecy in Daniel.

I used "Reply". It quoted you verbatim. Point out God's truth in the papal quotes I cited. I must have missed it.
