    Revelation 20: the thousand years

The 1000 yrs is just one example of the problem with Revelation in general. The entire book is full of symbolism and without knowing what the symbols represent it's impossible to know the true meaning of the book. First of all, who was it addressed to and what was the intended meaning to them...

WHO IS IT THAT DWELLS IN GOD?

Don't bother anymore. I'm done. There's no more room for discussion. This is the foolishness of preaching in living color.

WHO IS IT THAT DWELLS IN GOD?

No such thing as a deathbed confession to be saved. No examples of it recorded, plus it would make everything else in scripture null and void, making everyone a liar including Jesus. The written word woukd be meaningless and untrustworthy. Is that what you believe? Would that satisfy you?

WHO IS IT THAT DWELLS IN GOD?

They are not true if the reader doesn't understand and applies his misunderstanding to them incorrectly. They are true but not on a standalone basis. They can't be because they could/would conflict with other scriptures that say something different, something more is required. IS THIS THAT HARD...

WHO IS IT THAT DWELLS IN GOD?

They are true but not when viewed and considered when isolated on a stand alone basis. And how do you know that and what raises the red flag? Simply by the existence of all the other scriptures that say that other things also are required. If those were taken individually woukd they individually...

WHO IS IT THAT DWELLS IN GOD?

Yes, if the reader lacks understanding when reading them. The passage is clear, but not on a stand alone basis and viewed as such.. Scripture must be linked to other corresponding or related scripture so one can get the complete understanding of the message.

WHO IS IT THAT DWELLS IN GOD?

You said it, "the passage". What about the myriad of other passages that say additional things are required? As I said, belief only is unscriptural as it negates other passages that state otherwise. You just confirmed what I (and the Bible) stated.

WHO IS IT THAT DWELLS IN GOD?

Belief only? That negates many scriptures that say more than just belief is required. Belief only is a false, unscriptural, and dangerous doctrine that will not save your soul.

WHO IS IT THAT DWELLS IN GOD?

How does the bible say we are born again? How does this happen and at what point? And the kingdom is here now on the earth. How do you become part of the kingdom? And fyi, no one ever said the water itself does anything. Its not the water, it's obedience! Read the OT account of Naaman who had to...

WHO IS IT THAT DWELLS IN GOD?

So where in the bible does it say how that happens? What is the process by which you're saved by spiritual baptism? John baptized in the Jordan river which was a precursor for baptism into Christ. Both are the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins, except John's wasn't a baptism into...

WHO IS IT THAT DWELLS IN GOD?

One faith one Lord one baptism, so which one is it? ? And how does it happen according to scripture??
  12. D

WHO IS IT THAT DWELLS IN GOD?

Oh, really? I'm shocked!! So, which one is it, since there's only one according to scripture, and exactly how does that happen, according to scripture??

WHO IS IT THAT DWELLS IN GOD?

Why wouldn't I think that? It's what the bible says! And why wouldn't anyone else? 1 Peter 3:21 21The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ...

WHO IS IT THAT DWELLS IN GOD?

"One Lord one faith one baptism". Go back to John's baptism as the beginning. It was by immersion in the Jordan river.

WHO IS IT THAT DWELLS IN GOD?

In response to your post title. Who is it that dwells in God? All those who were baptized into the Lord's body.

WHO IS IT THAT DWELLS IN GOD?

We're baptized into the body of Christ which is his church.

    Doctrine of Predestination

I did a short study and writing on this topic that I've previously posted, but I'll l post it here again for consideration. The below is what I've concluded. Predestination (based upon the foreknowledge of God) Premise: God knows the beginning and the end, so therefore he must also know all...

IF YOU BELIEVE WE CAN LOSE OUR SALVATION, PLEASE GIVE ME THE VERSE/VERSES THAT MAKE YOU BELIEVE THIS.

Revelation is in symbolism. And unless you know what the various symbols represent, you can't really decipher it/its meaning. It was meant to be read to the 7 churches of Asia, so, even they would not have understood without guidance as to what the symbols meant. But as a for instance...

IF YOU BELIEVE WE CAN LOSE OUR SALVATION, PLEASE GIVE ME THE VERSE/VERSES THAT MAKE YOU BELIEVE THIS.

Who was Revelation written to? The 7 churches of Asia which is actually Asia minor, or Turkey. Revelation must then have has relevance to them, in their time. So, was "the tribulation" as you referred to it as, a future event to them or some futuristic event in our future? Was "the tribulation"...

IF YOU BELIEVE WE CAN LOSE OUR SALVATION, PLEASE GIVE ME THE VERSE/VERSES THAT MAKE YOU BELIEVE THIS.

1st, what is THE tribulation period? And both Mark 16 and Matt 28 relate in terms of preaching the Gospel to all nations/all the world and baptism of those that believe; the primary takeaways.
