End times. Christians will be like the soldiers of Gideon, around the world (sin in check? lights shining?)

Sorry but "fleeing for your life" is nowhere in Revelation. To repeat what I am saying, we - as Christians - need to be ready for the Holy Spirit to speak through us all at once. "Submit to God, resist the Devil and he will flee from you" (letters, from memory) - you don't see this as biblical?

No brother! No and a thousand times no! Do you not think God can nip the spread of the mark in the bud? Are the nations that different from one another that what God stops in Israel, He cannot stop in every nation? Jesus said "pray that you escape and are able to stand" - you have the first...

Let us be a generation that was familiar with the Lord's presence, with His Glory in God (Australia?)

Hi there! So every nation is different and those nations that serve (read: are slave to) other nations, must work all the harder to keep their perspective on God. In Australia, I think that means being familiar with the Lord's presence and His Glory before God. The Lord does not boast before...

What should we expect from God? - If it's not asking too much...

I think the example of David in the Psalms is telling. David didn't say "I love you God, do whatever you want" no, he said "God I am suffering as if you don't exist, hurry up and help!" Jesus was on the Cross and He wanted to know "why your abandonment?" in other words "don't you want to be...

    A Philosophical Question

I prefer to interpret the question from a personal perspective. That is, God can relate to anything, because He created it all. In other words, God does not need to be everywhere, because He knows the state of everything no matter how progressed it gets. God prevailed to the point, that what He...

End times. Christians will be like the soldiers of Gideon, around the world (sin in check? lights shining?)

I was just re-reading this and I was inspired to think "I am with the Christians that take this stand, against the mark of the anti-Christ - we are going to do it together!" Don't let the Devil think we can be singled out! That is not the plan!

Brother's house sold (thankyou); the Devil keeps attacking my salvation (because at one point I backslid)

I learned to deal with the Devil by invoking the fact that I have now been baptised - I no longer do the things I used to do, in sin. Thanks for your prayers - I don't doubt they helped me reach the point where I was strong in the faith again.

Vision Of The High Court Ruling:

I have been struggling with something like this, for a long time. I had believed and fallen away and come back and got baptised. The things which I did when I fell away, hindered my faith until I claimed the blood of the Lamb since being baptised. I had the aspects of the faith, but they didn't...

Let us give praise to God, for the Natural World (no debate plz, this thread assumes God created)

I was just thinking: how did ducks get their hydrophobic feathers? Did they get them bit by bit? It has to be God!

It is what it shouldn't be

It's not necessary that everyone believe, just that someone does. You are mistaking believers, for a people that are trying to tell everyone to believe the same thing - the reality is that we are all asking "has the Lord told you, what He told me?" When was the last time you went the extra...

You have to help? My physician is slow, my fellow citizens hate my poverty and my efforts at finding work are a constant struggle

Hi there, So who wants a pity story, right? The thing is, I am being betrayed on all sides, by bad choices, bad interpretation, bed expectation. I have schizophrenia, which in and of itself is neither good or bad, but interpretation makes it change. The bad choice, is for my physician to say...

As a rule, "partially right, most of the time" is moral.

I think too - just reflecting on what you wrote - that there is a sense that whatever your situation, whether you believe you have evolved and don't owe anyone anything, or you believe you are the seventh generation of a noble king, there are things that are right for you to do and the...

Praise God! God loved us, before He created us; then once He created us, He made His love constant - power to God!

Hi there, So yes: God loved us before He created us - loved every detail! He foresaw it all, the good times, the bad, the sin, the repentance and He loved us! Once God created us, He made His Love constant - waited for us to seek Him, to inquire of what He had done! He rejoiced to be tested...

Dream About The Highly Specialized Job (1 of 2)

I have been on assignment for the Lord for some time now. He did not send me to the nations, but to study the world as it will be and as its culture needs to be. My path to the end, is secure in Him. The dream confirmed that I must not doubt that God is calling me.

Grief comes more easily to the simple of heart; those that trust the Spirit have their share of strife (selah)

Hi there, So I wanted to focus on something that I didn't actually think I would encounter as a believer. For a long time, I thought the problem with my faith, must be that I backslid; which constantly seemed to drag me back into doubt. Then I realised I was trying to "do faith" on my own, too...

"Go big or go home"? The Holy Spirit says no! Go great for God, then share it with the faith! (ready?)

Hi there! So there is a great opportunity as we head in to the end, for people to do great works for God (Daniel, from memory). What helps this idea, as the Bible says "say Lord willing, we will do this or that" (James? Letters, from memory), is what you will do with the success you get. I...

Is the Holy Spirit pleased with the children of God, when they come? (question?)

Hi there, So Jesus is reported to have said "Will the Son of Man truly find faith on Earth, when He comes?" and I have a similar question. Will the Holy Spirit be pleased with the children of God, when they come? (selah) We are called to be good stewards of our faith, if those that come after...

    God the master artist

The true artist never takes his mind off, the inspiration at heart (selah)

I was struggling with the Dragon and I realised "the attack on my faith cannot be stronger, than the Holy Spirit's presence in me is simple to trust"

Hi there! So yes, praise God! I was struggling with the Dragon and I realised "the attack on my faith cannot be stronger, than the Holy Spirit's presence in me is simple to trust" - I know, I know "greater is He that is within me, than he that it is in the world" (letters, from memory), but by...

You may not realise this, but the Holy Spirit is better at Christianity than you (learning to trust Him?)

This is fascinating: the Holy Spirit, can make your faith simpler - if you are having trouble trying to understand it!
