The second coming comes with tribulation, is the third coming the same?

Hi there, So this thought is just going around and around in my head: the Holy Spirit will teach a greater degree than Jesus. Jesus essentially taught the "fear of God": repentance, righteous judgment, atonement - we were expected to understand that our fear of God should in fact be a...

Hi there, So I have been wondering for some time what happens in the lead up to the tribulation and one thing I cannot account for is the notion of the Rapture - which I think may mean that a lot of people on Earth (of all faiths, meaning everyone) will "be called home" (die). It's something I...

Hi there, So I guess I am just putting this out there, because I have spent a lot of time meditating but never really had control of my brain. The point is simple: the brain is more willing to obey under certain conditions, than others. The condition the brain specifically responds to, is that...

The Earth is flat when you stand on the Earth - the same way the Sun is flat when you stand on the Sun.

Me: I have to meditate. Closeness to God, in stillness, transports the soul to higher realms.

[the power of] Consciousness is a vibration in the soul. Just as we are told God created with His Word, so He creates consciousness - which is essentially a vibration caused by that Word.

Yes ok, but you are saying there are two comings: does the third coming come with tribulation for those who are on Earth?

Jesus said "The kingdom of God does not come by observation, for it is within" - if Buddhism says meditate until the light of enlightenment is within, isn't it saying basically the same thing? Jesus is basically someone who says "I have stopped chasing my own desire"

The Gospels are full of Christ doing different works. Jesus says "believe in Me because of the works".

So you are saying there is no tribulation at the third coming?

I thought it might encourage people to have kids, even though they are not going to raise them. You seem to think I am suggesting that fixes the problem - I didn't say that. I still think you should work from a perspective of empowerment - telling everybody how much of a problem we have is not...

Hi there, So I can't discuss this in the non-Christian forum, because I am Christian - but I am really curious? If you were dead in your sins and denied there was a 'god', but the Holy Spirit started to work with you, and you started to think "it would be better if I didn't make up my mind or...

I kept thinking about the OP Title and eventually I thought: 'alright! I will reply!' Saying you will be Christian but not believe in the Trinity, is like buying a house and saying "I'm not going to walk along the west wall of the house" even if there is a fence blocking the way, you don't say...

This blessed me, thankyou!

Truth is where the spirit and soul meet. When you say "[someone] doesn't know the truth" you are saying either they don't care about their spirit or they don't understand their soul - which is ridiculous (to some degree). I'm not saying this to admonish anyone, just to point out the bigger...

There is a walkway near the water, near where I live. While my Mum was walking along it, with me, my Mum all of a sudden said "I want to run for a minute" and we ran, not more than a hundred meters. About fifteen seconds after we stopped, someone came running past us in the opposite direction...

Wow! Great news! Jesus has been praying! If Jesus can pray about the time of Jacob's trouble, I think we are going to be ok!!

I have been thinking about Jesus in terms of "Evolution" and what He said when He said "I am the Door". If He says 'He is the Door to the sheepfold' but then the automatic, garage and revolving doors are all invented - has Christ evolved/because the Door has? I mean, what would have happened if...

The point is that over time your praise for God should change as what Christ does for God changes.
