In response to the OP. If it is true that Jesus said "pray always that you be able to escape the things to come and to stand before the Son of Man" and you are praying always, then at some point you will be praying at the same time as the tribulation. The alternative is to guess when prayer...

Something that puts a lid on the Creation/Evolution debate is this: In other words, discovery reveals the hidden, but how it was hidden is lost to time - you can't prove that President Lincoln was assassinated scientifically.

Tell me: does God want to remain mysterious? What causes men to believe more - 'revelation' or 'mystery'?

I think "Diversity" is one of the keys to how God created life. I also think that "immaturity" in people, makes them averse to sharing it with others. Great topic!

Hi there Olivia! Re: Buddhism, Jesus said "by your patience possess your souls" (from memory) - if Buddhists possess their souls by patience, they will be in Heaven (maybe not as much 'Heaven' but still). Again as Jesus said "there will be many from the East and West that will sit down with Me...

See look! Mum and I were talking about moving house about a week ago, and now the internet is saying "thinking of selling house?" Plus I am 46 and it is saying "do an exercise program for over forties!"

Hi there, So I am in a struggle at the moment: I've started to realise all the lovers in my life (from porn, to real life) need to be pointed to God. Confessing the sin, freed me, but then I started to notice something else: my flesh began splitting open! It's not an external thing, yet, but...

I need to point all my lovers to God, that is so true!

Maybe this is the point: the more you exercise the versatility of your word (which the words of Jesus are, that is the most versatile that can be), the denser your adaptations (and hence your Evolution) can be (that is, the more adaptation you are able to sustain, over all, in principle). It's...

It's wrong for people in prison to ascend higher than the prison warden, even if they are in prison.

It is very similar to the Golden Proverb:

It started to work, for a moment. I was in the spirit at work, and I had this thought "this is like the dream someone said they had" and I realised that all I could do was pray (that people learn about Jesus). Maybe if you won't help me, that's what happens, you have a strength in the spirit...

The medication I am on, is causing me so much grief. My Mum says "you want to be a barista, memorize the different types of coffee", but it's like I am looking at blank pages - I don't remember almost anything. "It's just experience" Mum says, completely dismissing that I am on medication at...

If you have to know what is on the other side to be part of the gang, then maybe you need to walk on thin ice to get there; not to say you can't swim if you have to, but the point is you have to attempt something that isn't guaranteed. Knowing this life is not guaranteed, is what makes a...

The point is that there are not greater and greater ways of creating fusion (inner-specieally). The more you pervert fusion, the less of the only fusion you have, will work.

I've started a new tactic! I am only going to eat McDonald's once every ten years. Part of the problem has been that I think about McDonald's, but I don't study the context in which my addiction develops. I mean, if I am talking about McDonald's every day, that's addicted; but if I eat it every...

This struck a chord in me! Team Jesus!

I think what it is, is that He predestines the good in us. I don't think He writes us off, because there is evil we have yet to repent of. When we commit to a "life of good", He is pleased with us.

Ok. Imagine every time you do crochet you see an advertisement about crochet (on your computer); or every time you do a soduku, you see an advertisement for sodoku. That's what I am talking about?
