You don't have spiritual discernment? Then you can't expect anyone to trust what you teach because you didn't discern what spirit was teaching you....

I wonder if prophesy can apply more than once....in any case, you say it was fulfilled in 2000....yet 2000 years later we still see it being fulfilled in present day Israel...even more so as it ties in with Jerusalem being reinstated as the capital as prophesied. Pondering...... Edit: I meant...

Well you know me....but in a Bible Study Forum I take it very seriously. After all it is the written Word of God...the Living Word....so studying it should be taken seriously.

I have to disagree....the purpose for salvation is because God doesn't want anyone to perish....absolutely no one....so whosoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved. I have faith to believe for their salvation.

PEACE! BE STILL! get into your Bible and study 2 Corinthians 12.... 2 Corinthians 12 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¹⁹ Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying. ²⁰ For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find...

Yes I know this...did I claim them to be the same person?

:eek::eek::cool::cool::):):):D:D:D What a merry-go-round....Mary didn't recognize Him either....I have to think it's because He is in His glorified body which still looks like His old one...(the scars...which I heard that He has to bear them always...)

I may not fully have the revelation knowledge of all scripture but I am not ignorant of it. I just interpret it different than you do. So you can get down from your pedestal now....if you have knowledge to share that will edify believers here then great...but your presentation of it sucks...you...

I appreciate all the help I can get....and especially from those who can increase wisdom, knowledge and understanding to things I hadn’t quite fully grasped yet. You are a blessing...thank you.

I see your point...and definitely agree with most of it...but it raises the question why did Jesus prove who He was to Thomas by allowing him to put his finger in his wound?. He still had the scars from His crucifixion visible.... This just keeps getting deeper...and I love it!

This is probably a good example of how scripture gets misinterpreted...I took it literally and you see it as a metaphor....Holy Spirit help us to find the revelation knowledge of scripture so that we can plainly see what is the intended meaning of it.

Another good point...and Jesus even walked through walls....and yet He ate and drank with the disciples which is definitely a flesh thing....this just keeps getting deeper and deeper....I love it because it makes me study more thoroughly to find the answer.

You bring up a very good point...pondering.

Very good knowledge supplied here....thank you so much...I never put much thought about His body until recently when I was participating in a thread discussing whether our spirit leaves the body at the time of death or sleeps until the resurrection.... And that is when that "aha" moment came...

Interesting question....I thought soul was the mind and spirit the life breath of God....now I need to do some searching.

I am looking into this and hopefully find out for sure.

Aren't we dressed in robes?...this is a good question...I find it ironic that scripture tells us to "put on" the garment of praise, wear the robe of righteousness, put on the garment of salvation....etc. Obviously these are spiritual garments... But I believe we will wear white robes.

I am very impressed! Your commentary is very detailed and complete regarding the OP. This is why I love Bible Study...some members give excellent insight into the meaning of scripture and I learn things I hadn't seen before. Your explanation of corruption really hit home for me. One of those...

@farouk would you like to join this study of prophesy in Hosea?

If you want to discuss philosophy and psychology then start your own thread in another forum. Your opinion matters but not here and not to me...if you think your intellect has helped others gain perspective and wisdom concerning scripture then you have been deceived by your own self pride...
