8 days, the 8th day leading to a new beginning.

That verse is AFTER 70 AD, so you're not thinking straight. What was finished was the ministry of death. A will and testament does not come into effect until after the death of the testator. And what is our inheritance? The end of sin. How? The baptism of fire. Hebrews 9:15-17 15 And for this...

8 days, the 8th day leading to a new beginning.

He's crucified at the end of the 69th week, leaving a gap. After all the next verse is 70 AD which is many "weeks" later, then another gap and then the 70th week as shown in chapter 7 and 12 is the last week of this world. In the gospels we see that the generation that sees all this will be the...

8 days, the 8th day leading to a new beginning.

David, don't you know that what made an end of sins is the Spirit of Christ infilling a person? That has been going on for the last 2,000 years and is fast approaching the last day after the last Gentile is saved, and then the last week is dedicated for the saving of His elect, national Israel...

8 days, the 8th day leading to a new beginning.

In Daniel 12, Gabriel is talking about the true end of the world, and it is the last week of Daniel 9, after 70 AD. Many believe that last week in Daniel 9 has to do with the crucifixion of Jesus, but that is before 70 A.D. 8 Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, “My lord, what...

8 days, the 8th day leading to a new beginning.

No He's not. How do you count the Messiah as being crucified in the 70th week? There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; The street shall be built again, and the wall, Even in troublesome times. And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; There is one...

8 days, the 8th day leading to a new beginning.

I misread your post. I saw 70 AD, not "the 70th week" as being the last week. So, yes, it is the Great Tribulation. Daniel 12 goes into more detail.

8 days, the 8th day leading to a new beginning.

No. From 70 AD to the end there will be many wars. But the last verse shows us a paradigm that was used more than once. Daniel 8, the 2,300 literal days is between 6 and 7 years which is the Maccabeen war 67 BC to 60 BC, again with the middle of the week, Antiochus Epiphanes IV desecrated the...

8 days, the 8th day leading to a new beginning.

I don't read it that way. That last week is after 70 AD, so has to be the time of the beast in our future.

8 days, the 8th day leading to a new beginning.

blindness in part has happened to Israel until That is speaking of the promises to national Israel when their blindness is removed. Are you saying that born again national Jews are still blind Remember, this does not include Gentiles. Though, lukewarm Gentile Christians are also being saved...

8 days, the 8th day leading to a new beginning.

This has to do, not with the Gentiles as you are implying, but the salvation of the Jews. Romans 11:26.

8 days, the 8th day leading to a new beginning.

Wrong. It was prophesied in Hosea 6:1-3. The two days of God's spanking the Jews are now in the 2,000 years since Jesus, and the one day is the Millennium where the Jews will be saved.

8 days, the 8th day leading to a new beginning.

Right! Day 7 is the Millennium ruled by the Lord of the Sabbath. That is still future starting with the actual return of Jesus Christ, not a figment of someone's imagination.

When will the earth be 6,000 years old?

How did you come up with 5999? And no, I do not believe in the "gap theory." We need our sun and moon.

When will the earth be 6,000 years old?

But 5,785 is far from 3,500. They would have had to have taken the number of years Adam was alive and that whole geneology from Adam to Noah.

When will the earth be 6,000 years old?

The theory that the livitical calendar started with Moses and that was ground zero couldn't possibly be even close to right as that was only about 3,500 years ago, give or take 100 years.

    Doctrine of Predestination

Exactly. And Paul didn't say God does not allow a women to speak. Paul said, I don't allow a woman to speak.

When will the earth be 6,000 years old?

Hi Matthew, I went to church for the first 30 years of my life without once receiving an answered prayer, so, yes, I know what you mean. That is why we MUST be born again of the Spirit and that is through realizing we cannot be holy or even righteous by ourselves like the Jews had to keep the...

When will the earth be 6,000 years old?

You are seeing the "I" and "me" and deducing Paul is speaking in present tense, but if you would just read a little further you will see in Romans 8:2 that Paul is again in present tense revealing through Jesus Christ he was freed from Romans 7:14-25. Those verss are about those who are still...
