(Job 1:6-12) Hello @Robert Gwin, God doesn't make mistakes, so whatever His will is, then that is my preference. Mankind was tried and failed, but our Lord was tried and was victorious (Matthew 4, Mark 1 and Luke 4) . He, unlike Mary, used the word of God skillfully to defeat the foe, she...

Hello again, I read this morning the following words of Peter, raised in pray to God after being commanded not to speak or preach in the name of Jesus, 'And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, "Lord, Thou art God, .. Which hast made heaven...

Hello @GerhardEbersoehn, If you are persuaded in your own mind regarding the keeping of the day, then it is before God that you keep it, and I do not judge you or anyone else for doing so. Thank you In Christ Jesus Chris

Hello @Gerhard Ebersoehn, It is blaspheme against the 'One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.' (Rom 14:5) Hello @Gerhard Ebersoehn, With respect, there was no wicked intent in my reference to Romans 14...

'And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: (H2896) and God divided the light from the darkness.' (Gen 1:3-4) Hello there, I opened my Bible to the first chapter of Genesis and started to read, and was arrested by the word 'good', for I...

Hello @Ferris Bueller, (& Ziggy & Co.,) As a child I remember the older members of the family advocating the use of salt water for everything, from a saw throat, open wound or ulcerated leg. Saline is used to bath the eye, and so on. It heals and stops putrefaction, yes? The word of God has...

'For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; .. only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, .... but by love serve one another. ...... For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; ........ Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another...

'One man esteemeth one day above another: .. another esteemeth every day alike. .... Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. ...... He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; ....... and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. ......... He that...

'As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him: Rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.' (Colossians 2:6) Hello @Robert Gwin, I am not aware of an 'assignment' having been given me, other...

Hello @Marty fox, You ask:- Why is it only Satan who is bound and released as he is only a single fallen angle and can only be in one place at a time? * Satan is no ordinary angel, for he is a 'dignity', a 'power' (Jude 1:8), and recognised as such by the Archangel Michael in Jude 1:9: given...

'All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer unto the LORD, have I given thee, and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: it is a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD unto thee and to thy seed with thee.' (Numbers 18:19) 'Ought ye...

Hello @MatthewG, Thank you for sharing. :) Yes, words are powerful I agree: they can 'make' or 'marr'. Verses related to this have been finding access into my mind lately, for I have been witness to the detrimental effect of words, when opinions have been expressed which have caused offence...
