Also consider that there was no example of anyone experiencing Christ's crucifixion so this was new territory (so to speak)...and no one there to encourage and support them. They had to walk by blind faith. I see hypocrisy as those who know what scriptures say to do and don't do it yet expect...

No form of gossip or lies against you will prosper....In Jesus Name! “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the...

Yes...this is where I see spiritual immaturity in him. Until receiving a vision Peter was being ruled by the laws of the Jewish people...after God gave him a vision of all animals are good for food (ad lib) then Peter also understood that neither circumcision nor uncircumsicion mattered one iota...

Hi ViJ! Good to see you engaging again!:) When Jesus was crucified the disciples had not yet been empowered by the Holy Spirit... I like how this person said it... First, the Holy Spirit was directly given to the apostles (ten of the twelve) by Jesus on the first evening after the resurrection...

@Jim B “But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” — 1 John 2:27 (KJV)

Seriously? John 16 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¹² I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. ¹³ Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew...

This question is so blatantly ridiculous that I won't bother to answer.

Jim if you read Romans 8 you learn how God feels about carnal minds. Romans 8 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ⁵ For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. ⁶ For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is...

Love this message! It hits an area we all battle with in our life. That constant regret of what I could-a, would-a, should-a done but didn't. I have lived with guilt for years now regretting not spending more time with my daughters as they were growing up. I often blame myself for their problems...

Man made the Bible become what they wanted it to mean through their man made doctrines. There is only one who can give you wisdom, knowledge and understanding of His Word and that is the Spirit of Truth...the Holy Spirit who reveals the meaning to those who seek to know. Man has interpreted the...

I will keep her in prayer...so sorry she is going through this.

Good question...I have only recently in the past year come to understand there is a difference from Gen 1 to Gen 4. God didn't create light twice....so imho...first day was when God created a beginning and and end and separated them along with good and evil. Knowing God exists outside of time we...

Well I think you have an agenda @HisLife and if you want to continue to chase my posts down in order to demean or patronize my beliefs then that is trolling. I won't participate in your attempt to attack me in any way. And your use of scripture has nothing to do with my post or this thread.

As best I can. May fail at times but when I do I repent and ask for His help in times I am weak and fall short. Jesus alone is the only One on earth in human flesh who was and is able to walk perfect. Do you expect people to be perfect like Jesus was/is? Then your standards for how others should...
