I think what is being suggested is that you are a frog swimming in a saucepan of water that is being heated on the stove.

No, because the scripture does not support this proposition.

Yes, in putting all of the Easter story events into a chronological timeline, it is easy to see that there are many errors in our understanding. Take the Palm Sunday celebration in our churches today on Sunday, because that is the first day of the week according to our calendar, but Jesus rode...

Judges 24:2 does not tell us that Abraham was an Idol worshipper. This is what the scriptures tells us: - Joshua 24:1-5: – 24:1 Then Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem and called for the elders of Israel, for their heads, for their judges, and for their officers; and they...

Carbon Monoxide creation occurs when the oxygen levels in the air supplied to the burner are insufficient. One of the symptoms of Carbon monoxide poisoning are headaches. Carbon monoxide poisoning often occurs when the supply of fresh air for the combustion process is restricted by making...

Well, if what you are saying is correct, then the trampling of the Israelites around the world would not still be occurring. If the trampling of God's earthly hosts has not stopped and is continuing still, then your nominated end point for the Daniel 8 prophecy of the trampling of God's earthly...

Alexandra the Great died, according to Dr Google, in 323 BC and there were a number of wars between Alexandra's generals to sort out how Alexandra's Empire would be divided up between his generals. In Daniel 8:8 we are told this: - Daniel 8:8: - 8 Therefore the male goat grew very great; but...

{Started at 6:00am Nepali Time} What calls for people to change the usual practice of a day representing a year with respect to Daniels Prophecies, i.e. Daniel 9:24-27, and then insist that in Daniel 8, that this prophecy of the trampling of God's sanctuary and His earthly Hosts only be...

Trevor, you are right Jesus in Luke 21:24 is confirming that the 2,300 evenings and mornings will occur over a very long period of time, nominally, 2,300 years, which will end when the Kings of the Earth will be drawn to the place called Armageddon to be judged for their part in the trampling of...

Could I humbly suggest that the translation of Genesis 12:3 gives the wrong impression. Below is the Interlinear for Genesis 12:2-14: - Please note that the translation of H:0127 which has a meaning of "Soil" as shown in this Strong's word meaning: - We should note that the KJV does not...

Why is it that people cannot grasp the fact that what Gen 2:17 is really saying is, On the day that you sin against the lord, at that time your will die in the distant future the second death. Ezekiel 18 gives teaching on the consequences of the second and that if a wicked man repents of His...

Douggg, you are applying a linear understanding of the Book of Revelations. Daniel 7:9-14 tells us that when the heavenly host beasts are judged then the Son of Man appears before the ancient of days to receive His dominion over all of the peoples of the earth. Daniel 7:9-14: -...

No Douggg, the judgement of Isaiah 24:21-22 has not taken place yet and my understanding is that that will take place in around 20 years time when the kings of the earth are also judged. No Douggg, we need to define Christ's second coming which I believe will happen at the end of the seventh...

The poll at the start of this thread is really a poll of opinions. It asks the question "Does the Bible contradict itself? The problem is that it is the opinions of the commentators that contradict the scriptures. Just posting on this forum and presenting our opinions on what the scriptures...

Paul identified who we are presently fighting against in this verse: - Ephesians 6:12: - For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places...

Where do you get this POV from?

Keraz post this: - This is what I had previously posted: - Sadly, Keraz has accused @Bluemind of making a "rubbishy statement" when he was only quoting what I had posted. Having interacted with Keraz for a number of years now, Keraz always presents his private understandings irrespective of...

God has promised that He will plant Israel in His Fertile soil/field of Israel which is not the same as the "land of Israel." The fertile soil/field of Israel has a very different context associated with it from simply "plant them in the land of Israel." God Planting Israel in His fertile...

There are many on this forum who this statement of yours applies to. Maybe you are also addressing yourself. Not every occurrence of the word "land" in our English translations contextually has the meaning of "land" in the Hebrew text. Could I suggest to you that when God begins gathering all...

When we understand that we are breaking the commandments then we know that we have turned away from God and are doing what is right in our own eyes. It is when we have turned away from God that we have to decide whether or not we will humble ourselves and repent of our primary sin of turning...
