Agreed. He had to start somewhere. For many years, I was under the impression that his 95 Theses contained criticisms of a wide range of Catholic practices: praying to the "Mother of God" and dead Saints, Purgatory, infant baptism, the legitimacy of the Pope and his power, the belief that the...

Luther's 95 Theses was mostly criticizing the Clergy in the Catholic Church for indulgences, in essence tickets to heaven, and over stepping their power and influence. I never picked up on and the Reformers viewed Catholic Church as antichrists or the Pope as an apostate as Covenantee stated...

I'll just stop trying to convince you, no sense, it's a exercise in futility. Happy trails.

He did not regard His equality something to be grasped, means though this concept was important, man cannot fully grasp it, so He didn't stress it. If He did regard it, then He would have shown His glory to everyone. Why not just float up into the air, appear like the brillance of the sun and...

Not much space is really needed. Let's see, we won't sleep or have sex, so no bedrooms. We eat vegetarian diets pick off the trees or from the gardens; so no cooking and no refrigeration are needed - no kitchens. Since we won't be watching TV, there will no need for a living room. If we have...

lol. I always wondered what a half hour in heaven is really like. The spiritual realm has a different concept of time. What seems like a half an hour up there could be two seconds down here.

>> "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus," Jesus blood sacrifice removed the veil in the Temple spiritually and literally - it was torn. The Old Temple became obsolete from that moment on and at Pentecost, those who believed in Christ were...

Exactly. Still today man wrestles with this concept, for it is hard to grasp. "Who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God something to be grasped." Phil. 2:6

God is spirit. Jesus spirit was not born, he pre-existed since the beginning. "Before Abraham was, I Am." - pre-existance "I AM the Alpha and Omega". - pre-existance "I Am the Bread of Life". - He didn't become the bread if life, He was always the bread of Life. He is the Way, the Truth and the...

What does a Christian look like? We can't really look at a stranger in a crowd and tell if he is or is not a Christian by their acts of kindness. The Bible says "By their fruit, you will know them". But it takes times _ to know someone. Some people are loving and kind who do not believe in...

Our Savior was sent into the world. He already had that title, he didn't have to earn it. "...Put your hope in God, for I will praise him, my Savior and my God." Psalm 42:11 "For I, Yahweh, your God, the Holy One of Israel and your Savior ..." Isaiah 43:3 "I am Yahweh and there is NO OTHER...

Solomon's overall message in Ecclesiastes was that life under the sun is vanity of vanities and leads to chasing after the wind and ultimately futility WITHOUT GOD. Whether you are rich or poor, without a relationship with God, you will end up in Hades, the place where the ungodly dead go...

I give you the whole Bible. Jesus is the Word, the exact expression of God. Everything the Bible tells us about the nature of God, perfectly defines Jesus. The whole Bible is about Him, the Messiah, the Savior. God saves us. A mere man cannot save the world, not even an angel.

We can't make anything spiritual. Jesus is the Creator (Col. 1:16, 17; John 1:1; Hebrews 1:8). Jesus is referred to as the God/man. God emptied Himself and became a human - obviously just partially. Wait a minute, Christianity claims He was fully God. Well, I agree, He just relinquished His...

I would have to disagree! The soul is given at the same time life is given, at conception. Some day you will see miscarriaged and aborted infants growing in heaven ... maybe even your own. Wow how shameful and embarrasing that moment will be.. Jesus will why away your tears. Just think of a name...

I love laying down next to a fireplace and staring at the flames on a cold night. It is peaceful.

Out of 2.65 billion Christians, 97% of them are Trinitarian. Since it is a fundamental belief, if it were wrong, wouldn 't you think that the Holy Spirit, our Teacher and Guide to all Truth, would have corrected it?

Jesus refutes this paragraph in one sentence: " "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day". John 6:44 So how did you will yourself to Christ without God first enabling you to do so? Another verse would be, " For by grace you have...

You know, one main significant person. Trump was their main target, others were targeted too.

Because the many measures in many states (that I am not aware of), could have been enacted to prevent fraudulent activity. And it is a different election, not just one person running which makes it easier to add to a ballot or switch. When a hundred congressmen are running all from different...
