My husband and I both went to the same church from when we were born till we got married ! And we never got a bible till we changed church's ! May be that was because the priest or nuns never told us to get one ?????????? But they did tell us to get a prayer book and rosary...

We were never told to read the bible, only had prayer books and rosary's...... Or to have one ! And we had some things to answer from the black board............ and from what the nuns asked us..... they gave us some kind of magazine type book..... not much to it !

I went to Transfiguration Church and School ....... And I did all of this...... Back then you never went against the nuns........... NEVER!!!!!!! You have no idea what the nuns would do to us if we did not do as we were told.......!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

I was Catholic! And when I went to church we were not allowed to touch the communion.. In fact I remember watching a movie years ago were it was dropped from a [ in -movie] priest into a lady's dress and it went like the priest could not touch her in that spot and she could not...

How can the priest make the communion so holy, that you are not allowed to touch it ?

Hello "BYGrace", The computer let me know? Plus my son works so he has to know this ! We live in the farm area ! With 10 acers....... Before my husband and I move in here we had 40 acres , I could go for walks and not bump into any one..... HA! But I did stop in time...

Yesterday we had some snow flurry's again a light coating......... and today we may get more ? weather report is not always right ? We do not use TV or radio or even get a news paper, so I was shocked at the day light saving time..... forgot all about it! :)
