"The world, the flesh and the Devil" should be "the world, the Devil and the flesh"? (priorities?)

I guess I do see the devil as weak if you're in Christ. 1 John 5:18 King James Version 18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

    Emptiness

Sorry you feel empty. I remember it feels awful and I hope it passes soon for you.

Theology is neither here nor there, but have you submitted to God? (poised?)

I like this. Scripture says knowledge puffs up but love edifies. Theology can give us knowledge. But knowing about water is not the same as drinking it.

    Are all sins equal?

Some sins are unto death and some aren't. 1 John 5:16 King James Version 16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

We've got this! We should start praying "Thankyou Father, that Your Son's Gospel has gone out to *all* the nations of the world - we say by faith!"

Come quickly, Lord Jesus. Matthew 24:14 King James Version 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

    Give : to the poor

Good to give when possible and not worry so much about what the reciever does.

Being wise in the last days, prepared for the problems we are facing today...

I can definitely rub shoulders with some homesteaders if nothing else.

Solar radiation as the source of what is current called "Global Warming".

If it's solar radiation and not fossil fuels, maybe these global elites can stop making it harder for farmers to do their jobs.

Who physically enforces feminist public policy?

I think the old ways led to the "halo effect" where women are seen as more inherently virtuous. I just don't think it turned out to be that way under a feminist influenced society.

Independence Day eve: History)The Founders Meant to Keep Government Out of the Church, Not God Out of the Government

Thanks. Ive heard some people, Christians even, say the Founding Fathers were pagan. I did wonder about it.

    Sex Before Marriage

I believe relationships are more like tattoos than bandaids and that sex is always a spiritual connection. 1 Corinthians 6:15-17 King James Version 15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God...

Wife: "Dishes being done isn't for me. It's for the house"

Also...doesn't dish doing go for the house...and those in it? Why is it just for the house? Is the house going to say, "Thank you?" I find interesting things on Pinterest sometimes.

Wife: "Dishes being done isn't for me. It's for the house"

I liked this. I could always find a female friend to agree that I was being mistreated or taken advantage of in my marriage. When I started focusing on myself and what I could be doing---my friends fell off and things sure got quiet! I think you're spot on about assuming bad motives. The two...

Wife: "Dishes being done isn't for me. It's for the house"

I consider April Cassidy a wise and funny mentor for marriage advice. When I saw the post in the OP, it reminded me of one of her videos.

Video: Preacher Deception Faith Alone No Works?

I agree and can testify of God's goodness. The fear of the Lord improves my life now and in the life to come. Absolutely. And I like how you asked, can we afford not to do for the poor and needy. I like that attitude and zeal. Its refreshing and I'm here for it. Thanks for watching the video!

Wife: "Dishes being done isn't for me. It's for the house"

I like that. It's good for family to appreciate and contribute. The key is that you are happy when they do. I disagree with the wives' mindset of assuming bad motives of people actively trying to help and being ungrateful for that help.

Wife: "Dishes being done isn't for me. It's for the house"

I remember having similar thoughts to the post above early in my marriage. I work too. Why can't he be expected to do chores the same way I would do them? It's easy, as shown, to find women to commiserate too. However, there's a quote that really helped me: Expectations are just...

    What have you cooked lately?

We did it for three months before we found out about baby number 2. My husband lost about 55 pounds. It was a great thing for both of us.

China Doll: Service With A Smile

Thank you for sharing this!! Even now, the way my ten month old daughter watches me is very humbling. It's a big calling to live well in front of her.
