So that is your point? That Jesus came into the world, born in a manger and later on in His ministry; sincw He didn't have any palce to lay his head, money in his pocket - THAT IS THE MESSAGE HE IS GIVING US, THAT WE SHOULD ALL LIVE LIKE THAT? The Jews expected for the Messiah to show up in His...

This is from Joel's website. Which of these beliefs should we avoid like the plague? "We Believe … the entire Bible is inspired by God, without error and the authority on which we base our faith, conduct, and doctrine. … in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy...

Because your OP video preacher released a bunch of carrier pigeons with his message and so I thought they deserved some lunch.

Don't worry, God accounts for all. His plan was written before the foundation of the world. Easy to say, hard to conceive. Wow, I am shocked. All that Greek exegesis and you can't find a clue??? Jesus is the Gate, (Door) and the Way. "Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the...

Why is it difficult for you to understand why those_ at Jesus Coming _ who have the Holy Spirit (born again Christians) are resurrected to life eternal and those who do not have the Holy Spirit (who are spiritually dead) will be resurrected to age-during (anionios) destruction? The dead in...

Certainly, Christians are ready, we are the Temple of the Holy Spirit. A lamp is not illuminated unless their oil in it. The Holy Spirit gives us the ability to be light in darkness.

Metaphors Revealing the Holy Spirit, Part 3: Oil as a Metaphor for the Holy Spirit

The Parable is about the Second Coming of Christ in Judgement. The oil is symbolic for the Holy Spirit. Five virgins did not have the Holy Spirit. Since the theme of Matthew is regarded as a message to the Jewish Christians, it is understandable that unbelieving Jews who have not received...

Some. But look at the seven churches in Revelation. Two were faithful, the rest needed to repent of their sins. One was almost dead, another God hated, another was lukewarm ... all kinds of sins going on. These were actual churches but were also church-types that existed all through the Church...

You can't separate God from the Bible. Faith comes by the WORD. It is God's supernatural message system to us. We couldn't know God otherwise. As many civilizations worshipped false gods as with Greek gods and Roman gods or the American Indians Eagle in the sky. So which god do you worship? If...

Well, I knew this would open a can of worms. He was a college srop out, worked behind the scenes helping his Dad. Then his Dad died. He initially didn't think he was qualified to step. I like said you win't get doctrinal teaching from him, you'll be lifted, encouraged to have faith and hope...

I can't get on board with this Pastor's critical and judgmental tone. I shy away from preachers that focus on sin too much, and hit you over the head with their Bibles - as if their teaching is purely led by the Holy Spirit. Sin needs to be addressed, just not si much a dominant theme so you're...

There are apparent contradictions in the Bible, but they are not. It is in harmony with itself all the way though. But the scripture actually says don't judge unless you first clean up your own life and then are willing to be judged by the same measuring stick. "Take the log out of your eye...

Love, faith, peace and joy to you.

"for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come." This just means that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are one. He will not speak on His own means, something different than Jesus taught. Imagine the Holy Spirit coming...

I think "judgement" is a better word. Condemnation implies damnation. But this not judgment as in the loss of your salvation or as unbelievers are judged. Christians will be judged based on what they did, their ministry, their work, etc. Their work will be tested with fire. Whatever is good will...

The OP is about understanding the Bible. Of course the way to God is to first pray to God, which is just talking to God as I said, in humility, but then will he answer you audibly with a teaching of 138k words? No, so we must seek God through His word - as He purposed. It is His message to us...

Yah, well the WHOLE counsel of God is from the FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT. And THE primary counselor is the Holy Spirit. Now if you don't think HE exists, you weren't baptized by the Holy Spirit or into His name, I doubt you will receive much discernment. You can read the Bible and gather...

Immigration laws exist, they just aren't practiced. They turn a blind eye to illegals. It sounds like slavery to me, underage kids working in an automobile plant? I remember immigration laws being revamped in 1998 and there was a $10k fine for any employer who hired illegals. But they don't...
