Peter ... the rock? He denied Jesus three times - some rock. If He was the rock, God wouldn't have needed Paul, who wrote five times as much scripture as Peter. We would have seen Peter take the lead in that regard. Peter didn't have half the brains as Paul AND we even see Paul rebuking Peter...

What is life? We see it all around. And a deeper question still, what is spiritual life? We would ponder also the source of life, physical and spiritual. God is THE CREATOR, the source of all life. Col. 1:16-17 identifies Jesus as the Creator Jesus is the LIFE. If He is not God, He cannot be...

"For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6 Wrestle with that one. That's a big one, profound and deep. Difficult to discern...

To CAPten-T.I.ME, Everything, all His plans are carried out precisely in order, in a timely fashion. From six days of creation to all of mankinds historical events _ falling in order _ within 7000 years. All Jesus words were precise and given at the right times. But let's examine these words...

Yes, Non-Trinitarians are serious to the point of not only ignoring particular sriptures, or misinterpreting them, but when they got too annoying and conflicting, changing them, adding to and taking away from them. (NWT)

In the beginning, Elohim (a plural form) meaning God is more than one person. "Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping...

Jer. 31:27 may be referring to a time when God will sow incorruptible seed, seed that does not die. Obviously our resurrection is of incorruptible seed. Adam's sin also corrupted the animal kingdom as well, bringing death and corruption to them. Someday, the beasts shall be healed as well. Peace...

Good post! However, I think the first absolute is that there is a God, He introduces Himself to Moses. Moses asks, Who are you? The answer, "I AM". Lots of truths followed that introduction, here are a few. I AM the LORD; beside Me there is no Savior. Isaiah 43:11 I AM the LORD, the Holy One...

That's right _ He created "evil". Other translations use calamities, troubles, disaster. The "Tree Of Knowledge of Good and Evil" ( evil already existing) was placed in the Garden with Satan as well. What do you think, does that sound like a perfect environment _ with an obvious potential or...

Dying to your old self is just that, hating the worldly ways. We grow to hate sin all around and particularly in us. I can't wait ... but I will. Paul also desired to be with Christ, but remained to fulfill his purpose as we will … until it is time. For I am hard-pressed between the two, having...

Didn't mean to hurt your feelings, just making a point. Actually I do not think YOU will be judged by the Law, because you live by faith in Christ, right? Romans 10:4 says, "Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes,". That statement means...

The point is, God gave that death sentence to the Israelites if they worked on the Sabbath. It isn't applicable to us. Or do you think it applies to you? Any sin means death, the wages of sin is death unless you have been forgiven. So no yoke for me, just joke. No, we are under the law of love...

Sure, people are excited, some happy and some upset, but what will be the outcome? We are in the end times and I believe the Great Tribulation or at least the Beginning of Sorrows approaching it! What do you think, this is a healing towards a better world, and we will just turn it around and...

God is LOVE. Faith and hope are fruit of the Spirit for those of us who live in a fallen world. Think of it, in heaven, will we need faith and hope? No. There will be no doubt as to our eternal future, it will be fixed, it will be certain. Right now, for many the future looks grim and our faith...

Wow, that is BIG NEWS but it might not be what it appears to be. ??? So what, will abortion clinics still abort? The SCOTUS statement, "The Constitution doesn't guarantee the right to abortion" is still kind of a slippery statement. There are if's there, like simply stating the conditions of the...

God's decision to abort fetuses is His decision only, not ours. He gives life and takes it away. Something much bigger is coming. Death to about 2/3 of the population. Those who do abort prove their selfishness and lack of faith in God. They are blind and so they go a different path. I did not...

That is what Acts 15:10 states, the whole Law is a yoke that we cannot bear, nor was it meant for us to keep. "whosoever doeth any work in the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death." You have not kept the Sabbath perfectly, have you _ ALL 256 Sabbath laws? Did you ever work on that day...

It was a specific covenant with Israel and her generations. For 400 years they were forced to work/slave seven days/week. The Law was given to them. They were the test case for humanity and they failed. But that is not a yoke that Christians are to wear and bear. "Now, therefore, why are you...

"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matt. 10:28 Destroy means to put an end to. Some time may be involved, but you can't destroy something for eternity. You wouldn't be putting an end to it. It...

past, present and future tense is all in our physical dimension. The spiritual realm is outside and so it is difficult to grasp that we were transported back in time with Christ dying on the cross and at the same time into the future in heaven seated with Him, our faith finished. In God's mind...
