Some will concede now and some later ... all in due time. If what you mean by concede is surrendering to Christ, the truth. But the whole truth is not a prerequisite for salavation, just the basic and fundamental truth, the enlightenment and spiritual transformation that removes our blindness...

The wages of sin is death. Simply put, we are saved from death. The gift of God by grace through faith in Christ is eternal life. I guess if I was to expound on what death is, physically and spiritually ... I'll need 28 more paragraphs.

It means the same as Col. 1:16 -17 It also means John 1:1 and Exodus 3:14, I AM! All the "I am's" in the book of John add to His description. The whole Bible is the Word of God and Jesus is referred to as The WORD, the exact expression of God, the fullness of His glory and Light of the World...

Sorry, I don't think many Christians (unless they are Catholics) would agree with Maria Valtorta. The only _torta truly from God is the Mexican Torta with refried beans, creamy avocado, spicy peppers—and piled with meat and cheese! That I can agree with.

I read the OP, what you presented as something you think is inspired scripture. Some of it was nice and I would agree with it but I found flaws in it. Many people write really nice inspirational things that give us warm feelings and comfort but we need to put on the breaks and put up the red...

Anima, Cardinal Dionigi Tettamanzi asked the publisher to ensure that "in any future reprint of the volumes, each should, right from its first page, clearly state that the 'visions' and 'dictations' referred to in it cannot be held to be of supernatural origin but must be considered simply as...

Debate until it's too late. Heresy is a strong term but weren't we all heretics before we were saved? We opposed the so called Church dogma. If we are Protestants, we oppose the RCC dogma. Does that mean we are heretics? And who will judge us? Non-trinitarians go against both Catholics and...

You spent years refuting and exhausting yourself to defend Maria Valtorta's writings? What a waste of time and energy. I won't add to that. Have a nice life.

I'm sorry, some of this sounds comforting and nice, but I see flaws in these concepts. First off, we are not animal-man. Animals have souls as we do, but they do not have a spirit. Our spiritual nature is dead when we are born, the spiritual part of us with ability to commune with God. Sin...

Much of OT is Israelites being put to the test. They were a test case for mankind and so their successes and failures are examples of how the best us would respond to the same situations. We would all fail to keep the Law, so we all needed a Savior to fulfill it for us. Testing their faith...

Okay if you do as well. Look at history. What happens after every war? Think. Peace. In fact, peace only comes after war times. What happened right WW1, WWII OR ANY OTHER WAR? PEACE. So we see the war in Ukraine and possibly next the big one in the Middle when Iran and 9 other nations attack...

Jude, James, Joseph, Simon were half brothers and two unnamed sisters. Mark 6:3

God has restrained evil since the fall . He allows it for His purpose. When the Restrainer is taken out of the way, the Antichrist is revealed and allowed to reign for 3 1/2 years, evil breaks loose (unrestrained) and darkness covers the earth like in the days of Noah.

My mom is there but as Jesus Himself said, "These are all my mothers and brothers ..." not showing favoritism to his biological mother or brothers, but distinguishing believers as his beloved family.

If you understand the Bible to be a series of chronological events, then you would think that. However, I do not believe Revelation was put together that way. I think God goes back and forth, showing us different vantage points throughout. Events overlap happening simultaneously, we can read...

So God's WORD is the cause of division and confusion? I'd say His word causes division, dividing righteousness from sin, good from evil, believers from unbelievers. But discernment is given by the Holy Spirit among believers, so it shouldn't cause confusion. And we all have witnessed theefaith...

... and die during that time. I am not sure that after the rapture, and the Restrainer (the Holy Spirit) is taken out of the way, who can be saved after that. What is left is wrath and during the seven bowls or judgment, it seems no one repents but curse God. Of course the Holy Spirit is...

Both happen at this time, judgment upon the world system, destruction of all those who have rejected Christ, sin and evil removed for 1000 years and Satan and his horde locked up. The Millennial Kingdom, with Jesus as King, will consist of Him physically ruling in Jerusalem over a world...

Bible search: Mother of God/Queen of Heaven, praying to "Mary" and the saints, Purgatory, a 'salvation by faith + works, infant baptism ... >>>Sorry, we didn't find any results for your search! Please refer to the theology of such concepts that exist only in RCC Catechism and the traditions of...

When Jesus/God speaks "like" the sound of a trumpet, it is just that, loud, piercing, clear, majestic, a metaphor. Psalm 29:1-11 "David uses "thunder" as a metaphor for the voice of God, emphazing power, majesty. Job 37:4-5: "After it a voice roars; He thunders with His majestic voice,..."...
