Jesus loves you Robert, He is the manifestation of GRACE given to mankind. Can I get an Amen?

What is imputed righteousness?

I would like to share a sermon about Grace, taught by my former Pastor, Dr. Zac Nazarian. I've learned much over a period of twelve years from his teachings. I still consider him my Pastor even though I live out of state. Hope Chapel

It seems this conversation is spreading out too far and wide. I do not agree with some of the views you hold. I have given sufficient reasons and scriptures on the initial comment but we have reached an impasse. It's becoming redundant. You are set in your ways - stay where you are. I don't...

Really? Romans 3:21 - righteousness is "manifested" 1 Corinthians 1:30 - "in Christ we "become righteous" Romans 4:5 - " the one who does not work but believes in Him, his faith is "credited as righteousness" Romans 3:26 "through Christ we ate "made righteous" 2 Corinthians 5:21 - our sins were...

So when you pray to Jehovah, part of your prayer contains praise and thankfulness for His "kindness - "nothing more and nothing less"? And then your description of Jesus would be what, just kind? Or do you attribute the source of kindness from Jesus? Probably not, you would say the Father is the...

That was a quote from Wikipedia, that I agreed with. We are justified by faith, credited with righteousness "as if" we fulfilled the requirements of the Law. But we didn't, Christ did. "In Reformed theology, "imputation" most often refers to the legal (or forensic) crediting of Jesus’ perfect...

You don't understand the word impute, which is used by a myriad of scholars for hundreds of years. So now you are distorting what you think I know and believe. Please spare me. If you don't like the word, simply don't use it. Don't try to discredit my knowledge and beliefs. Absolutely, we are...

Angels were created, hundreds of millions of them. Lucifer was once the #1, most glorious and beautiful angel. I think he got jealous of mankind, God's love and plan for us. Lucifer rebelled, turned against God and fell from grace and brought 1/3 of the angels with him. God simply removed their...

We all know that Christ died for our sins and rose on the third day. We all know that our sins are NOT covered but washed, removed. So why do you remain stuck on the meaning of impute as if it means to cover- it doesn't. Adam's sin was imputed to us. So we see that there are negative...

Grace is kindness and I did say that, but that is not all it is. Grace is without measure and so to put it on trial with a popular vote would be cheap. The scriptures describe what Grace is and how it transcends into our lives as blessings. We are blessed in many ways by the love of GOD.

The word imputed is not accepted by 1stCenturyLady. Okay. By all means use the words that are comfortable to you. Grace is ascribed to you, accredited to you, given to you. You did not earn it. You have it. God bless you.

You mean according to your New World Translation. Truth does not become outdated. You can view some 60 English Bible translations on Biblegateway.com for any particular verse. You will find that almost all of the above scriptures use "grace", certainly the most popular and cherished dozen...

Not a covering but a gift as His Grace gives to us. Or "assigned, ascribed, credited are other terms. We receive not just righteousness but all components of Grace. The "righteousness of Christ ... is imputed to [believers] — that is, treated as if it were theirs through faith." It is on the...

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." Eph. 3:8-9 I was taught that Grace was God's "unmerited favor" towards mankind. But it is much more than that! Grace is the core theme of the New...

When Jesus returns, Christians will receive eternal bodies like His _ prior to the Millennial Kingdom, whether it happens before, in the middle or after the Great Tribulation period (which btw I think we are in). Judgment of the entire planet of unbelievers means death to the majority of the...

It is Christ's righteousness that saves us, not ours. Of course we are to be obedient and that is to love one another. There are different levels of faith allotted by God. And there are those who are in the beginning of their walk who are immature spiritually and then those who have matured...

Don't get me wrong, I don't understand how He causes all things to work together for good. And I don't need to know to accept it and believe. I am merely pointing out that these doctrines contain unknown mysteries, things we cannot understand. It's like presenting a formula with missing...

It's FREE bible software, so not sales pitch. But, I actually laughed lpud when I read that Jesus is now in Lisbon _ walking the streets _ and will be speaking on March 22. The Bible warns us that we would hear these claims, "At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or...

Christ brought His spiritual Kingdom. He said it was at hand and it opened up at Pentecost and has been growing since. So "AS IT IS IN HEAVEN" so shall it will be "ON EARTH" soon.
