I commend your knowledge, work and gift. I just might have a slight disagreement with #1. If tongues is a prayer language and mostly for personal edification, then it is private. Unless there is a message to give to others, thkse who have the gift are to be silent, private about it. Questions...

Romans 13:1 claims God appoints all authorities/rulers and nations for His purpose. He is the Creator, He is sovereign. He brought the Jews back to their homeland after being scattered throughout the world in 1948. ( see Jeremiah 16:15 & Ezekiel 37:21 & Zeph. 2:1-3. & Zechariah 12:9, 10...

Wow, you seem to possess lots of agnst against those who speak in tongues. Listen, the Bible says tongues is for personal edification. That is private, most always occuring during prayers. IF this person with the gift, ALSO has the gift of the word of knowledge and/or prophecy AND has a message...

I gave my view of that paragraph. You didn't understand? I'll add that Paul desired that they all speak in tongues, but obviously many did not. He did value gifts that were beneficial for all over tongues- unless there was an interpreter of tongues present. He gave specific teachings on...

Acts 2:5 "Now there were devout Jews from every nation under heaven." Vs 6. "... they were bewildered because each one was hearing them speak in their own language" Vs. 8 "... How is it that we hear, each of us in our own native language?" It was a miracle. That was heavenly tongues being spoken...

Really? On Pentecost, Peter and the disciples spoke in angelic tongues, not of this earth, while people from a dozen nations and languages listened simultaneously to their speech and miraculously discerned this language (translated it _ in their own minds _ into their language). Read it. They...

None of these scriptures promise the gift of tongues. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is essential. One sign, tongues, is evidence. It does not imply that those who do not have it do not have the Holy Spirit. The gift of prophecy is another and more valued. Wisdom, the word of knowledge, faith...

Why is there always so much contempt against those who have the gift of tongues? All this bickering ... I wonder, do they feel lacking spiritually ... incomplete? I think that because it is not tangible to them and they can't seem to acquire it, they deny it exists or are just confused about it...

Matthew 24:14 is the final key to when Jesus will return. We are in the "beginning of sorrows" and there will be much more to come. Certainly when we see billions of people dying, we will know that we have gone through the first four seals and we are in the Great Tribulation - if we aren't...

There is a question that Jesus asks each and every one of us, "Do you believe in me?" Infants and young children cannot grasp this concept of who Jesus was, what He did, the gospel message. So we dedicate our children to the Lord, and ask Him to bless our children and guide them with our...

Antichrists and Satan were around for a long time. Abominations and desolations have occurred in the past and will so in the future. Pharoah was an abomination, Antiochus Epiphanes, Herod, Nero, Titus, the list goes on. There is no question that the evils we have seen in the past will revisit...

The simple logic would be if God told angel to give Daniel a specific prophecy concerning Jesus' First Coming, then that is precisely what it was. It wasn't, "Oh, look what Israel has done, I'll have to change this last week here, put it on pause for 2000 years and start it up again. Things went...

You keep making false assumptions on what I believe. Please stop. I believe the 70 weeks of Daniel were given as a prophecy that dates and describes Jesus' First Coming only and had nothing to do with the Great Tribulation. I could give you many reasons why, but it will be a waste of time and...

You are very condemning and hold comtempt against Christians who hold differents views. Are you a Catholic? That would explain the gulf between us. I ha e differences with Catholics but do not condemn them. I consider them part of the Body of Christ - at least half of it.

The rapture IMHO happens at the 7th Trumpet. If this is the last trumpet, then the Pre-Tribs and Post-Tribs are wrong. As I have stated, many things happen at this time: the nations of the world become Christ's, the Temple in heaven is opened, dead in Christ are resurrected (that automatically...

I guess I'm not as bright as you?

Would'nt you expect that if an all powerful, all knowing and omnipresent God wanted to give man a message and through this message, man would come to know and love Him, that He would ensure that it was accurate, uncorrupted and passed down reliably through the ages? If He is able to create the...

Yah sure. I guess John MacArthur has'nt thought things through either. Lol Are you saved by grace through faith in Christ and not by works? Yes or no?
