Satan is jealous of humans: Romans 8:16. The (Holy) Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit (meaning God’s Spirit in us), that we are (right now) the children of God … 17) And if children, then heirs; heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ (of the same potential, the same future); if so...

He is God the Son.... The only begotten Son of God the Father.... And I personally believe they are distinct and separate of one another. One reason for Satan's fall was his jealousy over Jesus and God's creation. .....and his pride. Satan is jealous of Jesus: Hebrews 1:4. Being made so...

But wouldn't that cause a sense of hopelessness? Knowing what was about to happen and not being able to stop it? In any case, I can only imagine what He was feeling at that time....and not imagine it in the degree of anguish He experienced.

I was thinking about the time Jesus was praying in the Garden of Gethsemane and scripture says He agonized so much that He sweat drops of blood. It's difficult to understand how someone can agonize to the point of sweating blood....that had to have been extreme hopelessness.

If you want to address me personally do it in a PM...I like a lot of posts members make whether I am in agreement with it or not. Sometimes I like their presentation of the topic but debate it with my response. You assume too much...be less assumptive and more discerning.

And so would we be if He had not driven Adam and Eve from the garden. .. “Then the Lord God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever"-–” — Gen 3:22 (NKJV) Become...

Who buys a car without test driving it first? How can our Father expect us to do miracles without testing our faith first? He tests our faith....is it strong enough to endure? Will we give up or press on? The book of Job is an excellent read about testing and faith. Another analogy: how does a...

Very pretty and well written!

Not having it my brothers and sisters....not today. Going to lock the thread as it has already become the playground for Satan and his demonic spirits to cause strife and anger.... Remember....we wrestle not against flesh and blood (each other) but against demonic spirits .... Eph 6 (NKJV)...

I believe that if we remain as a body that is in unity of faith..in one mind and one accord as they were on the day of Pentecost.. then we can be as a whole....one body serving to spread His Truth to all peoples.

Jesus exposed their hypocrisy and pride...and exposed Peter's denial of Him, and exposed Judas Iscariot's betrayal, and exposed the disciples lack of obedience to stay awake and pray.... And my point is Jesus showed the error of man's ways in order to point us in the right direction.

Every religious denomination follows their doctrine...which is the doctrine of man. It is hypocrisy to point out one religion without looking at the one you or I or anyone else believes.

More like hunger...hunger for truth.

Amen × 1000!

I hope our new member @Amazed@grace isn't scared off already.

No it isn't.

The sins of the father will be passed on up to 4 generations... Deu 5 (NKJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ⁸ 'You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; ⁹ you shall not bow down to them...
