    Olivet Discourse revisited

Jesus didn't tell His disciples to go for coffee while He delivered His Discourse. When He said "you" in Matthew 24:2 and beyond, He was addressing them.

    Olivet Discourse revisited

There is not the slightest possibility that an event as immensely and profoundly significant as the destruction of Jerusalem would go unprophesied. Jesus saw to that in His Olivet Discourse.

    Olivet Discourse revisited

A repeat of Lindsey the adulterer.

    Olivet Discourse revisited

Lindsey is a hyperfuturist. So are you. Why aren't you applauding him? Adultery does not invalidate hyperfuturism, because hyperfuturism is already invalid.

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

Good. So you go on believing yourself, and I'll go on believing the recognized exegetes of historical NT orthodox Christianity. Deal?

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

Whom to believe? 1. You 2. More than 2,000 years of recognized Bible exegetes Need a hint?

You're still not a recognized Bible exegete.

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

According to grammar, "in" = "in". According to grammar and Scripture, "Jesus" = "Christ" and "Christ" = "Jesus". Galatians 2:16; Romans 3:24; et al. Ergo, "in Christ" = "in Jesus". Sorry, but in more than 2,000 years of NT orthodox Christianity, you're not a recognized Bible exegete.

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

What Scriptures are those? So in dispenese/premilese, Christ is not Jesus? What recognized Bible exegete past or present has claimed that "in Christ" is different from "in Jesus"? Source, date, and verbatim quote, please.

23 major reasons to reject the Premil doctrine!

Grammar identifies "He" as Messiah the Prince. Is grammar false?

23 major reasons to reject the Premil doctrine!

Explain how grammar tells you that "he" is your imaginary "bad guy". Or don't you think that grammar applies to Scripture?

23 major reasons to reject the Premil doctrine!

Who is the "he" who confirmed His covenant and caused the sacrifice and oblation to cease at Calvary, and directed the desolation of Jerusalem in 70 AD? Hint: Grammar tells you. Scripture and history confirm.

His own. Nothing else like it.

23 major reasons to reject the Premil doctrine!

You've said "Luke chapter 24 is a parallel reading of Matthew chapter 24". So you now believe that the desolating armies were seen by the Judean Christians surrounding Jerusalem, as Luke 21:20 describes. That's encouraging to see. Pure Scriptural history.
  19. C

23 major reasons to reject the Premil doctrine!

You mean Luke chapter 21. True. And so Luke 21:20 is a parallel reading of Matthew 24:15, as you now agree. Pure Scriptural history.

You sound more like Scofield than Scofield sounds like Scofield.
